...I am a huge fan of Whitney Houston and have been from day one. I have all her albums and when her greatest hits came out 2 months ago i wasnt sure if i was going to buy it as i thought i would only be duplicating alot of what i had already. However I gave in and havent looked back. The double cd is just magnificant and it goes everywhere with me in the car. The ist cd is called the "cool down" and features 18 of her really mellow hits from the last 20 years including that ever popular "I will always love you" and the 2nd cd is called the "Throw down" and features 17 of her more upbeat and club versions of her songs over the last 20 years also. I can say that i am still and will still, enjoy this compilation for many many years to come and instead of rumiding around through all my Whitney Cds to find my favourite songs i now... Read review

...A 35 track, 2 cd collection of Whitney's finest songs. This collection has been produced in a great way:- Disc 1 is entitled 'Cool down' and includes songs such as 'saving all my love for you', 'exhale', 'i will always love you' and 'i learned from the best' and is good to listen to when relaxing as all tracks on this disc are the slower tracks she's released. The other cd is entitled 'Throw down' and includes tracks such as 'i wanna dance with somebody', 'how will i know?' and 'step by step' and is full of lively tunes - ideal hoovering music! This is an excellent compilation which showcases Whitney's talent over several years and an album which has been long overdue but nonetheless worth waiting for.... Read review

...To celebrate her fifteenth anniversary with Arista Records, Whitney Houston has recently released a two-disc, thirty-six track set of greatest hits which trace her career from early ballads like "All at Once" to recent club remixes like "I Learned From the Best." The first disc is entitled "Cool Down" and features Whitney's ballads and love songs. Two new songs, "Same Script, Different Cast" (a duet with Deborah Cox), and "Could I Have this Kiss Forever" with Enrique Iglesias, join old favorites like "The Greatest Love of All" and "I Will Always Love You." The Cool Down disc really shows off Whitney's vocal talent and the range of emotions that her voice can express. The second disc, "Throw Down" is the real reason I purchased this compilation.
