Queen - Greatest Hits I is the first, and best of the three Queen - Greatest Hits album. It contains 17 of their best songs, but not their 17 best songs if you see what I mean.
The songs included in the album are:
1: Bohemian Rhasody 2: Another on bites the dust 3: Killer Queen 4: Fat bottomed girls 5: Bicycle race 6: You're my best friend 7: Don't stop me now 8: Save me 9: Crazy little thing called love 10: Somebody to love 11: Now I'm here 12: Good old-fashioned lover boy 13: Play the game 14: Flash 15: Seven seas of rhye 16: We will rock you 17: We are the champions
Overall, this is a great album, full of many of Queen's classic songs. My two favourite Queen songs of all time are in here, "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Good old-fashioned lover boy". As for the rest of the songs, they are all fantastic as well, but there are a couple that I think let down the piece as a whole, these being "Now I'm here" and "Play the game".
Of course, being the first of three Greastest Hits albums not all of the best Queen songs are present. Noticeable by their absence are "It's a kind of magic" and "Princes of the Universe" which are found on Greatest Hits II and III respectively.
The enclose booklet isn't even a booklet for this album, just two pages, one with the track listings and the other with ablum covers. Not too wonderful.
I would recommend this album to anyone who likes Queen but for whatever reason hasn't got any of their albums yet, or for anyone that you want to introduce to them. It's a great album, and has an excellent shelflife.
