Advantages: A musically sound album! Disadvantages: If you don't like eccentricity then its not for you!
...my opinion, one of the greatest all time rock bands ever. What felt like every day of my childhood, I would hear a 'Queen' song playing on the radio, TV, tape or record player (80's remember). I seemed to know the lyrics and tune to every one of their songs before I could even talk properly, let alone sing. To this day I remain an avid fan of all these hits! Now, please let me introduce you to one of the greatest CD Albums of all time…… ……Queen - ... ...through the motions of the greatest Queen titles ever to be produced. It was year 1970 and there were 4 very talented young men who were brought together to form a group called Queen. These 4 men were: Freddie Mercury (Real name Farrokh Bulsara) - Lead vocalist and pianist. Brian May - Guitarist and backing vocalist.

Advantages: Some great variations on classical Queen Disadvantages: May no appeal to hardened rock fans

It was therefore inevitable that a greatest hits album would be released. This became very successful, however many people asked 'What about xxxxx, or where's yyyy' and therefore a second Greatest Hits album was created.
This album concentrated on the second half of the band's albums, basically starting from the 80s up until Freddie Mercury dies (in 91).
Kind Of Magic, A To coincide ... ...in combination with the first greatest hits album is an excellent addition to any CD rack and is particularly good for new fans of Queen who do not want to buy all the albums.
I personally prefer the first greatest hits albums as it is more Rock n Roll than this one, but there is nothing wrong with this album and it may appeal to younger fans who only started to listen to Queen in the 80s and 90s. ...

The original Greatest Hits album had covered the years 1973 through to 1981 .
Five albums followed , plus one live album , and of course ‘Queen At The Beeb’ , which was made up of early Queen recordings for the BBC sessions , before ‘Greatest Hits II’ was released in 1991 , an album was set to reach No.1 in the charts, and have a shelf life in excess of 100 weeks .
As with GH I , not all single releases were to be found on GH II , again these will ... ...be my favourite of the Greatest Hits series .

Just in case you need to know..........Queen began their recording history in 1972, a four piece band, consisting of Freddie Mercury (vocals, piano etc.), Brain May (lead Guitar), Roger Taylor (Drums) and John Deacon (Bass), their first major hit, Killer Queen reached no. 2, and it was Bohemian Rhapsody making the no. 1 spot in 1975 that really made them, in 1981 a Greatest Hits collection was released, ... ...in 1992, there is a Greatest Hits III out, which is also good, there was also a video to accompany the album (as with the first and third Greatest Hits), which consisted of the videos of the songs.
All in all its one of the best albums I’ve ever bought, and lets face it, you could do a lot worse than getting this collection, Queen are also one of the best live bands, so if you get the chance to see a video of theirs (or even listen to a live ...
