...Rock N Roll Cleopatra is a compilation album of some of Wayne/Jayne County's finest tracks. The album tends to focus on Wayne County pre-sex change years and full conversion to Jayne. Wayne was an interesting chap who took part in the famous Stonewall Inn riots, was an influential figure on Daid Bowie's Diamond Dogs tour and album, was an integral part of the early punk rock scene and worked as a DJ at CBGB's. O Often seen as a bit of a novelty act, I think that Wayne County & The Electric Chairs were highly under-rated and this album churns out enjoyable track after track often in various styles. The album shows a great range of styles, emotions and most of all in a light-hearted enjoyable humurous albeit somewhat crass way. ...I love the school of rock film and thought all the songs they used were great as i do like my rock and roll, the old classics and the new. I watched the speacil features on the dvd and found out that Jack Black himself chose most of the songs to go on the soundtrack so knew it was gunna be good. It includes the songs: 1) The who- substitute 2) No vacancy- fight 3) The doors- Touch me 4) Cream- Sunshine of your love (classic good tune, you will recognise the beggining of it) 5) Led Zeppelin- immigrant song 6) The black keys- set you free (my fav tune on this album) 7) Stevie nicks- Edge of seventeen 8) No vacancy- Heal me, im heartsick 9) The Darkness- growing on me 10) T.Rex- Ballroom of mars 11) The Ramones- Bonzo goes to Bitburg (really good classic tune) 12) Wylde Ratttz- T.V eye It also includes some...
