...Those wonderful people at Rykodisc deserve to be thanked for putting out these Roky Erickson CD's because they are great and thanks to TrustRoky a trust fund set up to protect his well being he will actually get the money for these releases, something that due to unscrupulous record company practices is a real rarity these days . This CD contains recordings of Roky on his own, other people and with his backing bands The Aliens and The Explosives respectively. The highlights of this record have to include "A Cold Night For Alligators" apparently inspired by the horror movie "Alligator People" this is a great piece of garage rock and would wet the palette of any 13th Floor Elevators fan. "Night Of The Vampire" during which Rocky's vocal sounds positively possessed here as he strains his way through the song, which is an epic piece... Read review

...gremlins which cause chaos. Gremlins was made in 1984 and was one of the year's best comedies, and still a favourite of young and old today. Some Ciao users may even think that the Gremlins are still running havoc as we experience problems with our favourite website. What makes this film so good is the mixture of comedy with horror. Unlike the big horror movies which base there themes around vampires and demons, Gremlins uses lovable little creatures which mutate into little monsters. The film takes us on an action packed ride as the little creatures cause havoc and Billy and his girlfriend Kate, with the help of Gizmo, have to find away of stopping all the chaos and destruction. The main star of the film is Gizmo, the cutest little pet that anyone would want, and even his evil little brother Stripe is lovable in his own way... Read review

...let it near water. As soon as we hear this, we know, there's gunna be trouble! As the film goes on we see the adorable gremlins grow and grow, but we know this is definately not a good thing. You have to watch the film to see what happens, but I have to tell you, it's a goodun alright! Funny but still sticking to the horror genre, this film really is a classic and I highly recommend it to anyone that loves a good laugh and can't resist the little cute gremlins!... Read review
