Advantages: A few really good tracks, some De La Soul tunes you have never heard before
Disadvantages: The album has no flow, a few weak remixes

They sometimes use words that they made up and rap about subjects that can be serious or just plain. De La Soul has their own sound without being too out there. At the time it was ground breaking. De La Soul was proud to be different and talented enough to make it in the mainstream. Since 1989 De La Soul has released more albums, none of which ever carried the heft of 3 Feet High and Rising. They fell from Tommy Boy's graces and almost faded away to obscurity. They are still making music and released The Grind Date in 2004 with the Sanctuary Urban label (see fun fact #1). De La Soul - Ooooh

Advantages: Great in car tune.
Disadvantages: Wears thin after a while

It was no easy work matching up to the standards that De La Soul's debut album '3ft High And Rising' set for all the crew's preceding efforts and for a while it seemed that it wasn't to be. This latest single is, gladly, a return to form for the former daisy-agers seeing them at their funkiest for a while. The days of saying 'No Go' having long since passed, De La now find themselves recruiting the unique vocal talents of New Jersey's weed-smoking microphone terrorist, Redman. A wise move, as Redman's instantly recognisable style gives De La's low-key mic skills, once perfectly suited to their gently upbeat productions, the contrast needed to fit into the contemporary , neck-snappin' production style. Review of Ooooh - De La Soul

Creme de la Merde!

Advantages: This 'designer' cream will turn your bathroom shelf into a shrine.
Disadvantages: Your bank manager will none too pleased.

I have read nothing but rave reviews about Creme de la Mer, an A-list moisturiser with an A-list price tag attached. Magazines are forever gushing about this product, associating words such as 'miracle' and 'extraordinary' to it so naturally curiosity got the better of me. Now although I can be somewhat of a beauty product victim and quite impulsive, even I know that forking out around eighty-eight quid for an itsy tub (30ml!) of this wonder is just plain ridiculous. So I sought to foreign lands, the U S of A to be precise, with hope that I could purchase the product for a fraction of the price - this was roughly about a year ago folks, before recession, when the value of the pound was almost two dollars, and so I managed to get hold of it at just over a hundred dollars with postage and packaging which luckily worked out no more than ...
