...Being an avid fan of the previous Guitar Hero games, my name was one of the first on the pre-order list. My little bundle of joy arrived through my letter box yesterday morning (the day after the release date) delivered from HMV.com with free delivery, totalling £26.99 (with student discount). In the box, you get the add-on part with the coloured buttons that you insert into the GameBoy Advance slot on your DS, a seperate attachement that you have to use if you are using an old style DS, a plectrum stylus, the game catridge, a game case, two sticker sheets and the instructions - though don't ask me what they say, I figured I would work everything out along the way. The box for the game is a usual PS2 slim line box in blue and the cover is much like the big box, Black and shows one of the characters in the game. The Guitar hero logo is very Punk and jaggy sticking out in white on the black box. -The Guitar- The controller for this game is a Black Gibson SG with a white scratch plate. It has a tremolo bar (or a whammy bar) fitted and 2 white buttons on the body. The 2 buttons are the select and start buttons found in the middle of a normal PS2 controller. ...I've been a fan of Guitar Hero for a while now, so when I heard they were releasing a new one I couldn't wait for it to come out. I did however have a few doubts after buying Guitar Hero Hits, because I didn't find this game the best, but last week I went ahead and bought 5. I am glad I did as it really is a great game for all ages. The biggest difference with this one is that you can now play as your xbox avatar. I think this is a great idea, because when you play it with your friends and on live it shows more personality instead of being the same character as other people. Although it does still let you pick characters from previous guitar heroes and customize the clothes.
