Guitar Man - Duane Eddy

Advantages: Not $6,000
Disadvantages: Not 1957

...This was the guitar which I coveted for many years. My holy grail if you will. I picked this guitar up on eBay for $1500 and if another came up for the same price I'd buy it again. I've used it in a Jazz band with flat wound strings and I've used it in a rock band and in both groups it's a comfortable, tone-mongering work horse. I love it. The feel, the sound, the look, it's an amazing deal for $1500. I see some around now for $2100 although I haven't seen any on eBay in a year. I'll never be able to afford the $6000 "real-deal" and as far as I'm concerned, I've got the real deal. I'll try to get a little more specific here, yes it has a Bigsby but no, I've not had any trouble keeping it in tune. I thank the roller bridge for that. ...I recently went shopping for parts for the Gibson Les Paul I am building at home ,so I took some time to try some new Guitar models in Montreal,Canada.They had several Ernie Ball,s to choose from ,and I must say it handles really sweet, it weights a little more than seven pounds,consists of Schaller M6-IND locking tuners,vintage style tremolo bridge,EMG 85 humbucker in bridge position,EMG SLV custom single coils,double cutaway alder body,unbound rosewood fingerboard,and what i really like on a good quality ax is a 1 5/8" wide bone nut ,shielded control cavities,including a 5 bolt no-shift neck attachment this guitar really fits the body and is comfartable ,not like some other guitars that hurt your shoulder at the end of the night,they are a little pricey but they do deliver a beatiful sound from Jazz to Rock... Advantages: upfront, has a go, yet to show his best, human
Disadvantages: a bit too laid back at times

...Being female one of the best things about Eddie is he is just so sexy, but that aside he is just what formula 1 needs, there no longer seems to be any characters in the sport. Most of the other drivers have no personality and are just driving machines. The last "real person" I can think of was the great Ayrton Senna. I think now we can truly see if Eddie is as good as he has always said. He was never allowed to race to his full potential while driving for Ferrari, it's just a shame that his Jag isn't very good. Hopefully they will improve over the next few seasons and see Eddie up on the podium again. He speaks his mind, drives with a passion and looks good. What more could a female F1 fan want?...
