Overview: I bought the first Hairbrush Divas album for my Stepdad for Christmas - He likes people like Kylie, so he really wanted the album. There were some really good songs on it, but this album does have some of the older and better tracks on. Deciding between the two albums would be a difficult choice, as both of them have an equal amount of brilliant songs, but I think the first album has a slightly bigger 'sing your heart out' factor. Still, this album has some real classics such as Ladies Night, Lost in Music, If I Can't Have You etc, and is the kind of album you would put on whilst getting ready for a night out. It really gets you in the mood for a good ol' boogie, and I can guarantee that you'll be singing into your hairbrush and dancing on the bed before you know it. Just don't blame me if you're late out!

Opinion: This album was released on Monday this week (08/03/04), and it was my stepdad who actually bought it this time. It must be a brilliant album, as he doesn't like to spend at all, and if it gets his seal of approval too, it can't be bad!
The only disadvantage is that there are a few out of place songs such as 'Life is a Rollercoaster' by Ronan Keating. Some might argue but it is only in my opinion, as I think they should have put some more classics in instead.
These songs are so catchy I'm finding myself singing along now even though I'm at work. Everyone will remember at least 20 of the songs on this album, as there is a lot of classics, and quite a few of the more recent poppy tracks too.
Warner have done very well with this album, and it has definitely kept up to the standard of the previous Hairbrush album. Some would say its easy to just stick a lot of old and new songs on a disc and re-sell it, and maybe it is, but you do need to find suitable songs, which were all memorable hits, and that compliment each other well, whilst being attracting all ages and both sexes.
Age/Sex: This album, as I've mentioned is great for both men and women. There are songs that women sing their hearts out to like 'If I Can't Have You', and the same for men, such as 'Freedom' (One of my stepdads' favourites to warble to). This album has also done well in finding a selection of songs that can attract all age groups. Songs such as 'Round Round' by Sugarbabes, and 'If You Come To Me' by Atomic Kitten, will attract the younger audiences up to the age of about 14. Songs such as 'Crush' by Jennifer Paige, 'Independant Women Part 1' by Destinys Child, and 'So Young' by The Corrs will attract audiences of roughly 12+. Finally, songs such as 'Atomic' by Blondie, and 'I'm Every Woman' by Chaka Khan, will attract audiences of 18+. (I prefer the older songs myself).
Cover Art: In the same style of the previous album, you have a primarily blue cover with a picture of three girls with ice cream and lollipops. On the back is the track listings.
Price and Availability: This album cost £14.99 from our local supermarket, but I have seen it a couple of pounds cheaper in well known music stores.
