...Done With Mirrors was released in December, 1985,
under the record label Geffen Records. This album is Aerosmith’s 8th studio album, which was produced by Ted Templeman and recorded at: Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, CA.
In the middle of the 19080's, Aerosmith was pretty well written off and left for dead due to their drug abuse and the band memember's ego clashes had taken such a severe toll that just about everyone had given up on Aerosmith. However after a Valentine's Day Aerosmith show in Boston in 1984, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford returned to the fold and the band got the idea that maybe, just maybe, it might be possible to make it back to the top. Aerosmith regrouped and decided to give it another go, and as a result went back into the studio to work on Done With Mirrors, which was supposed to be their big comeback album...

Advantages: The greatest band to ever stroll the planet Disadvantages: None (well, they're not to everyone's taste)
...'s stage presence, self-deprecating lyrics and array of stage props (National Health glasses, gladioli inserted in his back pocket, hearing aid, flowery shirts and questionable sexuality in the early days), they suddenly had a trump card.

This was never one of my favourite Smiths tracks but showed early promise (it was originally released in the summer of 1983 and is thus rather rough around the edges compared to later releases).
