Hannah Montana (The Movie/Original Soundtrack) - Hannah Montana

Despite being aimed at teenagers younger than myself , I can't help but like Hannah Montana the television show. I think although it is a children's/teenager's show , there's something quite mature about it. I myself find it really commical , and am always laughing at something or other. I even saw The Hannah Montana movie last year , which I absolutely loved and so I bought the soundtrack.

The CD is the soundtrack to the Hannah Montana movie and contains all of the songs from the movie. The CD was released in the United Kingdom on March 24th 2009. There are eighteen tracks on this album , most of them by either Miley Cyrus or Hannah Montana as well as one or two other songs by other people , including Game Over by Steve Rushton and Crazier by Taylor Swift. This CD is available to buy from Amazon for a price of £4.99.

Compared to the soundtracks from the Hannah Montana series' , this one seems a lot more mature , and not so cheesy at all. What I like most is the fact that it's more about Miley Stewart's music than Hannah Montana. Although I'm sure a lot of young fans will like this due to it being 'Hannah Montana' although I can't help but feel that this CD is more appealing to the older fans. It seems a lot more , maybe serious , yet there's still an element of fun about it , just not as much and as energetic as the usual Hannah Montana songs. There's somewhat of a more country feel to this CD.

I love a lot of the songs on here. My favourite songs from this album are definately 'The Climb' and Dream. I especially like the duet between Miley and her dad (in the show and in real life) Robbie/Billy Ray Cyrus ; it's such a sweet and emotional song and their voices blend so well together. Despite liking the 'Hoedown/Throedown' song as part of the movie (I liked the scene it was taken from in the film and thought that it was cleverly done) , although as a stand-alone track , I don't really like the song , although I can see why kids would love it as it's a very catchy and 'fun' song.

If you like Miley Cyrus' recent albums as well as some of her Hannah Montana stuff ,then I think you will love this!
