Well my dad got back from a trip to Scotland at the beginning of the week and while we were round for out regular Fish and Chip Supper on a Friday night he showed us the Video he'd shot. During htis he mentioned the Whisky Distilleries and feeling a bit peeved that at no time had I been given a present I made a comment that he hadn't brought my partner and I a bottle of Whiskey back. A very upset dad turned to me with a look of anguish and said haven't I. I do try to care about my appearance, and use expensive makeup and shampoo in order to make myself look good, yet for some reason I still tend to skimp on other aspects and beauty products. I very rarely use cleanser on my face or take off makeup with a proper makeup remover, and usually prefer to kill two birds with one stone and use a facial cleansing wipe instead. The fact that one of my best friends works very hard for her appearance and looks great yet uses face wipes too let me justify this slightly, especially if I ignore the fact that she uses high quality cleanser as well. Anyway, I've been using face wipes to remove makeup for years, and despite loving No7's 6-in-1 wipes I am loathe to spending £6.50 on a pack, so am always looking out for cheaper alternatives. Ok so I say to you baby shampoo, baby bath and baby powder, what brand automatically comes to your mind well I know what I would say and yes its Johnsons. The company was founded in 1943 by Robert Johnson and the Johnson & Johnson company is one of the biggest health care manufacturer in the world.
Yes it is a bit on the expensive side and yes companies like Boots, Superdrug and other supermarkets have their own brands. Don't get me wrong I am not saying that there is anything wrong with these brands but for me personally where my children are concerned there is only one company I trust and that is Johnson & Johnson so if paying a bit more gives me peace of mind then I don't mins.
