A Must For Dance Music Lovers

Hard House Nation was great but the sequal to it, Hard House Nation 2 is even better! I bought this two weeks ago and haven't stopped playing it. It is mixed by Andy Farley, and my favorite lady, Lisa Pin-up, who I had the pleasure of playing with at a local miss moneypenny event 2 years ago. Lisa Pin-up is one of the best miers on the scene, her compilation is a mix of commercial and underground vocalisitc hard house. Andy Farleys compilation is big and bad, real hard house and trance, with some excellent white labels too. As I said, this album is the one to buy, especially if you want to hear the best up and coming tunes of 2001! Buy it now! (its only £10.99 at HMV in their sale) ...

It struck me as one of those cheap compilations that HMV and Virgin chuck out by the armful, but upon closer inspection I saw that the track-listing was quite impressive, and this wasn't the usual downgrade space filler. The album is a double cd - one cd is mixed by Lisa Pin Up , the second by Andy Farley. Both DJs are well-known within the Hard House scene, and they both come up with a solid (if not particularly dissimilar) mix. It would come as no real surprise to find out that both these cds are relentless. The mix is generally very consistent - no changes in mood here - it's pumping from start to finish. Banging hard house

Disadvantages: Neighbours might not like it!

This is one truly superb album. I’m not one for buying hard house compilations because in my experience they are often too cheesey and commercial for my liking. As it goes I didn’t actually buy this one either but had it given to me as a present. I’ll admit it took me a while to actually take it out of the case but when I did – oh what a lovely surprise! Not at all bad. Although both of the CDs are excellent I would have to say the Lisa Pin-Up is my favourite of the two and is banging hard all the beginning to the end. Definitely worth buying! ...
