So here we are, the bands latest album as of now, and many people wondered if they would able to retain that edge and sheer level of aggression. You can simmer down as not only have they retained it, they have worked upon it and managed to to fuse the esoteric parts and all out psychotic parts like a French 1700's artist. ...are done tastefully and never feel like they were tacked on. All parts feel as though they were planned out over years to make them sound as sublime as possible. This is the kind of album that will be regarded, much like the band, as a testimony to Death Metal made by masters. Lots and lots of lovely death (metal)....

Advantages: Meaty riffing, great vocals & fantastic drumming.
Disadvantages: Some of the songs sound similar to each other

Normally im into Children of Bodom, Slipknot, BFMV and alot more of the screamo bands. But the Avenged Sevefold have a truly unique style, the vocalist is amazing. I bought this album, and loved it.
