Review of Inside The Electric Circus [Remastered] - WASP by catina122

Advantages: Heavy, Different, One of a kind band.
Disadvantages: Obscene, sexist, BUT SO WHAT!!!

Do you like loud? Do you like nasty? Then crank up these bad boy tunes!! This is some of the best music WASP has to offter its die-hard fans. This is a CD I play over and over. If you are a fan, then you ALREADY own this CD. Before the down side of their crazy lifestyle got to them, and the music turned in a new direction, Blackie and his boys rocked us with this great collection of raw rock and roll. If you are easily offended, stay away, if you ... Read review

Mean mutherz in errrr L.A.
Review of Headless Children, The - WASP by Snakeman45

Advantages: Really worth a listen is this one
Disadvantages: None

...this really kick!! Being the Headless Chrildren, and Thunderhead making the hairs stand up on your neck. Mean man is a track about guitarist Chris Holmes and his 'antics' on the docufilm ' The Rock Years'. The second half of the album goes into 'Chillin' mode with 'Forever Free' before getting back on form with the track ' Rebel in the F.D.G. ' to close. If you are into your rock hard and heavy you will love this album. It is not for the faint of ...
...lack the musical and vocal capabililty of bands like W.A.S.P. Definately one for the old school rocker!! This was Blackie's first attempt at a concept album and this one delivers. His later projects 'The Crimson Idol' and last years 'The Neon God' were even more mature and complete and showed just how far his song writing had come on since the 'Headless Children'. ... W.A.S.P Double Album Set
Review of WASP/The Last Command - W.A.S.P. by witchfindergenral

Advantages: Great value if you're trying to update your vinyl or audio tape collection
Disadvantages: Its quite hard to remove the second cd from the case.

What more needs to be said, Vintage WASP at their very best. The first two clasic WASP Albums in one cover for the price of one C.D. Tracks from the first album simply entitled W.A.S.P such as 'I Wanna Be Sombody' 'L O V E Machine' and The Torture Never Stop' will have you banging your head in no time, while tracks from the second album 'The Last Command' like 'Wild Child' 'Ball Crusher' and 'Im Blind In Texas' will blow you away. The lead singer ... Read review

W.A.S.P. Bad Ass 80's Metal
Review of Headless Children, The - W.A.S.P. by NIRVANA7XXXSTACY

Advantages: SOME OF THE BEST 80's METAL RIFFS EVER. TRUE ROCK AND ROLL!
Disadvantages: SOME WEAK SONGS. BUT MADE UP FOR BY OTHER AMAZING ONES.

...on the album: THE HEADLESS CHILDREN RATING *** Very haunting and atmospheric with the Gregorian chanting. Reminds you of The Omen. MEAN (MUTHAFU**ING) MAN ***** The reason I bought this Album ! The most aggresive energetic attitude bearing macho track on the album. A tough-guys theme. The best riff and overall guitar work on a forceful torrent of testosterone induced ballsy- fighting, don't mess with me, F*** YOU, type of song. My favorite. ...
...and the outcast. WASPs Headless Children album is a sophisticated work of genius that brings glam rock and dark aggressive metal together in a way that pleases the ear and satisfies your guitar loving soul. If you are offended by the swearing and attitiude of the band then you better not listen to this, but musically, it's for the headbanging rocker/rock chick that lives within. Maybe I'm getting old :) ... Read review

How big is yours?
Review of Penis Envy - Crass by dangaroo

Advantages: Some decent topics discussed, very experimental
Disadvantages: Not fun or cheerful

...band. The band's 3rd album Penis Envy which helped mould the band's more serious, political and less matcho style which differed from their first 2 albums was released in 1981 on the band's own label Crass Records. The band features Eve Libertine (originally the band's first fan) and Joy De Vivre on vocals, the main issue I have with this is that I simply don't like their voices. Harsh, high and militant they certainly get their message across but ...
...sure that's what the band were looking for but there are plenty of bands who have succeeded in getting political messages across (U.K. Subs, Bob Marley and even Carcass without sounding as unattached from sing-song than these two girls) The messages in the songs are at times interesting, often involving quite indepth stuff either in psychology or politics but at the end of the day, it's just no fun and the constant experimenting with different sounds ...
