Metallicas most disappointing production

Advantages: Seemingly None
Disadvantages: Very Weak album all round

If you've listened to any metallica and you then proceed to listen to this you receive quite a shock, how does such a great band produce such a terrible album. Everything about this album is weak, production, tracks, lyrics, guitar. but the cover is alright. Another great album from Metallica

Advantages: Good riffs and solos. at 1 hour 16 you get a lot for your money
Disadvantages: A couple of disappointing tracks

Despite criticism from cynical Metallica fans I rate this as one of the best Metallica albums. The album is a departure from their heavier, more aggressive sound on albums like 'And Justice for All' but as an album in its own right it is still very good. The best tracks are The Memory Remains, Carpe Diem Baby, Bad Seed and of course The Unforgiven II.
