Advantages: Better than other content Disadvantages: not many people listen to the older stuff. because they only listen to the song off guitar hero
In my opinion The Poison has outdone Bullet for my Valentines newest album by far, scream aim fire was a bad release and the style has changed completely. The poison has some great songs and they all have great solos vocals instrumentals, and well everything. i highly recommend if you like the newest album to buy the older one, its has a much better range of songs and all of the songs stick to a great independent genre only portrayed by Bullet for ... ...great and very original. its popular for 1 reason, quality. unlike the new album which was made famous by guitar hero, scream aim fire has ruined what i think of bullet for my valentine today and this album is the one that made them great. I highly recommend this album to all the people that have only listened to scream aim fire, its 100's of times better than scream aim fire. ...
Advantages: Brutal death metal, well presented and crisp production Disadvantages: Lacking a tad of originality that would of made this relase a classic
Released by: EARACHE, April 2008 Genre: Death Metal This is Deicide's ninth studio album, which follow-ups 'The Stench of Redemption' album that was released in 2006. Album Cover Design: All fans of Deicide will know that when it comes to album artwork they try their best to shock! This one is no different which features a painting by Hans Baldung titled 'Woman and Death'. The illustration is of a half naked woman being bitten by Death in all his ... ...My first opinion of the album was - when Glen Benton and Steve Asheim get together they get together for one purpose and one purpose only - to produce extreme Death Metal. I was expecting to hear the trademark Deicide sound and that's what I got. 'Till Death Do Us Part' on the first listen was simply oustanding. My overall opinion of the album - the more you listen to it the more you like it. A flawless display of aggression from Benton supported ...
Advantages: Loud, pumping and lots of screaming! Disadvantages: Should have had more songs
In my opinion this album is a definate hit! I loved it despite the fact it is different from their previous stuff. Still hard core screamo metal of course but lead singer oli's voice seems more tame and trained. Songs such as Diamonds aren't forever and Football season is over will make you wanna go mental! Also featured in the album a little dig at controvertial disagreement between Oli sykes (vocals) and a fan that claims he urinated on her... ...
Advantages: One good song. Disadvantages: The rest of the album is terrible.
This is going to be an unpopular review, but I'd like to voice my opinion on why I think this is an extremely overrated album. However, I'm not entirely full of rage when it comes to this album. Once I saw it begun selling extremely well at the music store I work for, I decided to buy a copy, spend an evening listening to it, and try to keep a clear mind throughout. This album is entirely one dimensional and once you've heard one track, you've heard ... ...vocals, even worse than that is the cheap sounding synthesizer beats which are usually out of place and extremely obnoxious. There aren't actually 17 tracks on the album, well not 'songs' per se. Quite a few of them are simply 'fillers' which introduce the next song, although this isn't the case for users of iTunes, as they are combined into the songs themselves. I'd like to at least give a good point about this album, and it comes in the form of ...
Advantages: Pure brutal death metal that never stops the madness Disadvantages: It doesnt last forever
...opening track “The Time To Kill Is Now” starts as it means to go on, fantastic. “Make Them Suffer” being the next track pretty much takes the crown for me, its the best track, although not by much as most of the tracks are all out perfect. The last track “Infinite Misery” is a instrumental track which I was rather weary of as the band doesn't seem the type to be able to pull it off very well. How wrong I was. Showcasing there rather mouth opening ...
