RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE
'Bombtrack'
'Landlords and power whores
On my people they took turns
Dispute the suits I ignite
And watch 'em burn'
The album opens on a great introduction to RATM. The composition, innovation and mood of the track hint at what is to come, but is relatively simple and easy going compared to later tracks. The track opens with a heavy riff from the guitar and angst ridden drums, but it ... ...bridge is formed of a simple guitar riff interrupted by muted guitar slides. 'Killing in The Name'
'Those who died are justified for wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites
You justified those that died by wearing the badge, they're the chosen whites' Opening with an explosive guitar riff with short sharp chords, before launching into their most infamous riff. This straight forward and anthemic rock track is instantly recognisable to just ...

Gone with the Sin
1. Gone with the Sin (Radio edit)
2. Gone with the Sin (O.D Version)
3. For You (Accoustic Version)
4. Bury me Deep inside Your Heart (Live)
5. Gone with the Sin (Album version)
The highlight of this album is the Radio edit of "Gone with the Sin". I think that it would be the album version but i'v ... ...Embrace (Album version)
This single is called "When Love and Death Embrace" for a reason. I like the song but four versions of it gets a bit too much. The Radio Edit is really good. It's becoming one of my favourites. The AOR-Radio edit is even better again. It is slower and quieter. The thing is they all sound a bit too alike for me.

...The tracklist:
1. Twilight of the thundergod: (4.09) Awesome intro, brilliant extended growl to come in with awesome paced double bass and low end melodic guitaring. The vocals come in clear and like most Amon amarth albums, you can mostly fully understand the lyrical content, which is another thing I like about this band, as their lyrical content is pretty cool and trys to give you an insight of the mind of the viking and how they lived day to ... ...growling and the lyrical content tends to be on the satanic, sadomasichistic, perverted and shocking for the sake of shocking, not that there is anything wrong with that, but it can get stale and it is refreshing to have bands like Amon Amarth (Nile also sing about Egyptian mythology). Back to song, great intro, great title song and worthy of having the album named after this track.
2. Free will sacrifice (4.09) A slower but nonetheless heavy song ...
Advantages: Always original and follows its own path. Disadvantages: Not for people who prefer more Mainstream rock.
...ablums and the cover of Karmacode amongst other things stood out to me. I bought it and went home and while I was listening to it i just didn't turn it off. All of the tracks that were on the album definitely deserved another listen. One of the songs that really stood out to me on the Album was the song "Enjoy the Silence", a Depeche Mode cover. What really got me in this song was the was Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro's (the lead singers) voices ... ...It was definitely different to any other rock songs I had heard from artists that are described as similar to them such as Evanescence and Within Temptation. It sounded like a song that would stand out amongst other songs. Another song that I thought was exeptional was "Our Truth". It definitely differed largely from the rest with use of unusual instuments such as the sitar and the dulcimer which wouldn't usually be used in rock music. What struck ...
Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: Some tracks need time to grow
In 1988 came the release of the debut album from Living Colour. “Vivid” has the Hard Rock band, noted for an all-black line up (out of New York City) brining the material that led to their breakthrough as they unleash a record that features their unique blend of the contemporary Hard Rock with Metal, Funk and Hip Hop.
1. “Cult of Personality”
The album begins with the band’s debut and breakthrough single. I felt that it was the perfect way to get ... ...the kinds of things that led to the creation of such an act whereby you get some raw Hard Rock (completely with influence from contemporary Punk and Metal along the way) as they perform a politically-charged joint that gave them the chance to make their first impact on the game. **Five Stars**
2. “I Want To Know”
It felt as though we were able to get things calmed right down for this one as they give us a chance to experience a whole different ...
