Another amazing album by DragonForce
Advantages: Fantastic to listen to. Awesome like their other albums Disadvantages: Lyrics a bit repetitive
Now before I begin I would just like to start by saying how much of an awesome rock band DragonForce are. They are one of the best I have ever heard. And yes for those who don't believe me, they are metal. Some people don't think that they are because some o their songs do not sound that heavy. However they are and a good one at that!
In the disadvantages I know I said that some of the lyrics are repetitive. This doesn't necessarily mean that they ... ...is done in all of DragonForce's albums (I believe) for example in Human Rampage they love to sing the line 'Fire and the flames'... I don't actually mind this because I love their songs and they are just amazing.
Okay I will run through the tracks. Yes, again they only have a few tracks. (A total of 8) However I always argue the point that they span out for a long time. This makes them good. They hit a massive 9 minute and 47 long track on this ...

Feel the 'force of British metal!
Advantages: Catchy as hell Disadvantages: Not their best production quality
This is a high-octane blast onto the music scene by one of the most promising metal bands to emerge from Britain for years. Already an underground sensation among power metal fans, it features all the songs featured on their internet-downloadable demo (then called 'Dragonheart') plus a few more strong additions.
To dub this band simply 'power metal' however would be an injustice. The band's sound features qualities of death/black metal (listen to ... ...Herman Lee's previous project 'Demoniac' (check them out!).
If you're a guitarist, and you're into shred and fancy fretwork, you'll love this. Some of Herman's solo's are mind-boggling in speed and accuracy, not to overlook Sam's often underrated complimentary more melodic approach, with lots of tapping and unusual sounds, reminiscent of old 8-bit video games. Indeed, they cite this as a strong influence. The first generation of video-gamers will ...

Rage Against The Machine Album Review
Advantages: Hard, unconventional rock Disadvantages: An acquired taste
Rap-Metal group Rage Against the Machine released their self-titled debut album in 1992, but the music is just as relevant today as it was back then. Songs like 'Take the Power Back' and 'Freedom' are about individual exploitation by the cultural, social, and political systems in society, and how the people must be willing to rise up and overcome such oppression. You may have also recently heard about the small matter of 'Killing in the Name' beating ... ...when you first listen to Rage is that they mean business. The whole album is intended to provide voice to the silent minority: Those individuals that feel neglected and abused are given hope through the band's resonant, unashamed, confrontational expression. Guitarist Tom Morello's anomalous riffs, rhythmic special effects and extended tapping techniques were some of the most powerful sounds to come from a guitar in that era, and remain unchallenged ...

My favourite album
Advantages: Unique and Brilliant consistancey of good tracks Disadvantages: Old fashion looking album design
Normally im into Children of Bodom, Slipknot, BFMV and alot more of the screamo bands. But the Avenged Sevefold have a truly unique style, the vocalist is amazing. I bought this album, and loved it. I think the best on the album is The beast and the harlot. I truly love this band and cannot wait until their next tour. The consistancy of the tracks is also very good with tracks like afterlife, bat country, Blinded in chains, MIA and gunslinger deserving ...
