I Wanna Destroy the Passerby
Advantages: Punk roots still hold their own. Disadvantages: Lacks any kind of originality or self-worth.
The most recent album from New York hardcore punks Agnostic Front continues to mix angry punk rock with shouty hardcore, and as but one of a seemingly endless number of similar-sounding albums having been released every year for the last couple of decades, it brings nothing new to the scene apart from some new material of Agnostic Front sounding like themselves. The whole album is based on fast, riff-heavy songs with multiple, moshable 'breakdowns' ... ...bass drums in a clicking frenzy that again permits the drummer to avoid having to put any thought into what he's doing. But of course, this is still punk first and foremost; a genre that has no delusions of Rimsky-Korsakov.
All the same, I found 'Warriors' to be a largely disappointing, or at best entirely bland experience, lacking the intensity that I can just about stomach from their contemporaries such as Sick of it All, and still apparently ...

Awesome and original album produced by italian gothic rockers.
Advantages: Always original and follows its own path. Disadvantages: Not for people who prefer more Mainstream rock.
...ablums and the cover of Karmacode amongst other things stood out to me. I bought it and went home and while I was listening to it i just didn't turn it off. All of the tracks that were on the album definitely deserved another listen. One of the songs that really stood out to me on the Album was the song "Enjoy the Silence", a Depeche Mode cover. What really got me in this song was the was Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro's (the lead singers) voices ... ...It was definitely different to any other rock songs I had heard from artists that are described as similar to them such as Evanescence and Within Temptation. It sounded like a song that would stand out amongst other songs. Another song that I thought was exeptional was "Our Truth". It definitely differed largely from the rest with use of unusual instuments such as the sitar and the dulcimer which wouldn't usually be used in rock music. What struck ...

So What Was Your Favourite Colour Again?
Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: Some tracks need time to grow
In 1988 came the release of the debut album from Living Colour. “Vivid” has the Hard Rock band, noted for an all-black line up (out of New York City) brining the material that led to their breakthrough as they unleash a record that features their unique blend of the contemporary Hard Rock with Metal, Funk and Hip Hop.
1. “Cult of Personality”
The album begins with the band’s debut and breakthrough single. I felt that it was the perfect way to get ... ...the kinds of things that led to the creation of such an act whereby you get some raw Hard Rock (completely with influence from contemporary Punk and Metal along the way) as they perform a politically-charged joint that gave them the chance to make their first impact on the game. **Five Stars**
2. “I Want To Know”
It felt as though we were able to get things calmed right down for this one as they give us a chance to experience a whole different ...

Machine heads peak!
Advantages: origional, amazing lyrics, great guitar riffs, exelent vocal hooks. Disadvantages: none!
clench your fists, but don't forget to have this album in one of them! In my opinion Machine head are at the peak of their career at the moment and this album proves it for sure! the album kicks off with a song called clenching the fists of dissent. Starting with a slow calm riff it slowly builds, and then all the music stops and your left with a heavy, catchy and amazingly awesome riff that will make you whip out that air guitar, or real one, and ... ...kicks in again with amazing, perfect and complex drumming from Dave Mcclain. Robb Flynn is an amazing vocalist and guitar player im sure you all know, but he takes it up to the next level with this album, he has raised the bar for everyone to aspire to now. I think this album is the modern day Master of puppets, and i think in years to come this is the album that people will say pushed metal to the next level. ...
