Almost every song on this album is unbeatable and i only hope Cradle can match or even better, top this album with their new release coming later this year entitle, Thornorgraphy. ..."Humana Inspired to Nightmare" - A great introduction. Put together very well, it creates the atmosphere needed to get into the album. "Heaven Torn Asunder" - One of the highlights of the album this is a great way to start it. A great guitar riff and tremendous vocals make this what it is "Funeral in Carpathia" - Kicking in with a blastbeat and an eleven second scream before slowing down to almost spoken lyircs. Cradle of Filth's 5th album has a special place in my heart; it was the first I ever bought, and if it's the first you're considering buying, I definitely recommend it as an introduction to them. There's a sense of humour present here that I haven't felt on their other albums. It features the single 'Her Ghost In the Fog' - released in 2000, which might be why it's such a popular album [I think it was shown on MTV]. Let's be honest: they're screechy ...
