Cannibale Corpse - Kill, pretty much everything Advantages: Pure brutal death metal that never stops the madness Disadvantages: It doesnt last forever ...opening track “The Time To Kill Is Now” starts as it means to go on, fantastic. “Make Them Suffer” being the next track pretty much takes the crown for me, its the best track, although not by much as most of the tracks are all out perfect. The last track “Infinite Misery” is a instrumental track which I was rather weary of as the band doesn't seem the type to be able to pull it off very well. How wrong I was. THE GODS CONTINUE TO BE GODS Advantages: Hear some of the best riffs death metal has been given. Disadvantages: Erm. None that I've found yet I've been a fan of Cannibal Corpse since they first started, and to be honest didn't think that new vocalist Corpsegrinder could have filled the shoes of Chris Barnes, who went off to start the pretty average Six Feet Under, BUT!!!! the first few seconds of this CD proves that Corpsegrinder is by far the stronger vocalist. Cannibal Corpse - Brutal But Brilliant! Advantages: One of the most hardcore Cannibal Corpse albums to date Disadvantages: Might put off new listeners due to vocal style. This is Cannibal Corpse's second album, and possibly most contreversial. For example the album was banned in Germany until 2006 due to the gorey cover art that includes zombies, disemboweled mother and hundreds of hanging fetuses The guitar and general sound of the album is less heavy than that of later albums, due to drop tuning of the guitars later in their career. Brutal! (In a good way) Advantages: Great sound, amazing talent! Disadvantages: In my personal opinion, none! ...Cannibalism" is an amazingly powerful live album, by the gods of death metal themselves, and you get just what you'd expect; a truely brutal performance, insanely accurate technical guitar playing and blast beats on drums, and George Fisher's unique low growl. For a live performance, the quality is good as well, no unwanted sound distortion, just the right level of audio mix between the band and the crowds noise, and everything cuts through cleanly ... ...death metal, this is definately a must have.
