So high and you can't feel it
Advantages: experimentation with 'textures' and sounds, catchy at times Disadvantages: no lyrics in the inlay, some crap tracks longer than perhaps necessary and dull
...name change from Butcherbourne to Sweet Heart Dealer, it was met with praise from most critics and disappointment from the diehard fans who refused to grow up and didn't want Jessicka to either, and were expecting Scarling. to be 'Jack Off Jill ver 2.0'. Daft cnuts.
Mark Ryden was the artistic genius behind the cover painting for Jack Off Jill's last album, and contributed again to Scarling. for their single release, and was back with a vengeance ... ...acted as a security blanket for the fans still afraid of change and needing some familiarity when met with this band that are an apparent amalgamation of emo / pop / metal / punk / goth / experimental... which is now referred to by few as 'nu-wave', or by even less (i.e. me) as 'indie-wank'.
+ AND ON WITH THE SHOW +
One thing that really stood out with the CD was that the sound was indeed quite different... the band themselves said that rather ...

The orginal one chord wonders.
Advantages: Complete guide to the stunning adverts career. Disadvantages: Towards the end the adverts went a bit weird
If you ever wanted to know the full story of the adverts, heres the CD for you. The CD spans the adverts stunning, but short career, a space of about 2 years. The adverts are most renouned for their first part of their career; the "crossing the red sea with the adverts" era. The more punky era, is the first half, the "crossing the red sea..." is my favourite. The Album features a selection of the adverts songs from their two albums, hand picked by ... ...the adverts. Some of the songs are album versions, some demos, some live....a selection really that makes the album great to listen to. The tracks most well known to listeners, are most probably the first three on the album. That is "one chord wonders" (an adverts classic anthem), "Quickstep" (featured on the Gary gilmores eyes single) and of course "Gary gilmores eyes" (a classic song, with horror punk humor style lyrics about the vilian who donated ...

Rage Against The Machine Album Review
Advantages: Hard, unconventional rock Disadvantages: An acquired taste
Rap-Metal group Rage Against the Machine released their self-titled debut album in 1992, but the music is just as relevant today as it was back then. Songs like 'Take the Power Back' and 'Freedom' are about individual exploitation by the cultural, social, and political systems in society, and how the people must be willing to rise up and overcome such oppression. You may have also recently heard about the small matter of 'Killing in the Name' beating ... ...when you first listen to Rage is that they mean business. The whole album is intended to provide voice to the silent minority: Those individuals that feel neglected and abused are given hope through the band's resonant, unashamed, confrontational expression. Guitarist Tom Morello's anomalous riffs, rhythmic special effects and extended tapping techniques were some of the most powerful sounds to come from a guitar in that era, and remain unchallenged ...

My favourite album
Advantages: Unique and Brilliant consistancey of good tracks Disadvantages: Old fashion looking album design
Normally im into Children of Bodom, Slipknot, BFMV and alot more of the screamo bands. But the Avenged Sevefold have a truly unique style, the vocalist is amazing. I bought this album, and loved it. I think the best on the album is The beast and the harlot. I truly love this band and cannot wait until their next tour. The consistancy of the tracks is also very good with tracks like afterlife, bat country, Blinded in chains, MIA and gunslinger deserving ...
