An amazing album!

Advantages: Good cause, Good lyrics, Good solo's, Good riffs and openings.
Disadvantages: nothing

System of a down's "self titled" album is extremely good. The album consists of 13 great songs. The lyrics of the album support the left wing political side. The song soil has an amazing guitar solo. My favorite song of the whole album though, is peephole. System of a down originate from armenia, they have very sensual personalities. I personally think they are the best band in the world. I simply think this, because system of a down are not there ...
...end. They also remember the armenian genocide, and try to stop something like that happening again. But overall system of a down is a brilliant album, and it was one of the first out, making them famous. I enjoyed it very much and i would recomend anyone getting this album. ...

Big. But What Are They On About

"Toxicity" came out in 2001, and was the second album from the Nu-Metal band, System of A Down. The group had released one album prior to this, and after the hype of their self-entitled debut was brought up, they managed to come out with a hit #1 album with this one as they brought there alternative sound to the Metal genre. 1. Bullet For My Valentine - Scream, Aim, Fire Album Review

Advantages: Great variation of songs sound and tone.
Disadvantages: None

This was a brilliant album with plenty of different variation within it. Bullet for my valentine is made up of 4 members. 1 Vocals, 2 Guitars, 1 Bass and 1 Drummer. If you were wondering why there is five there it is because Matt Tuck play guitar and does vocals. The album is a brilliant combination of slow fast and hard metal songs. Many of which feature awesome solos and great riffs. I listen to the album almost everyday and have never got bored ...

Live (ish !)

The legend that surrounds this album is not so much about the playing or songs but about the amount of studio overdubbing that was added later ! The truth finally transpired that it was onlt the vocals that were re done and that the whole gig's vocals were done live in Ringo Starr's living room ! Apartf rom teh numerous stories surrounding it , its not a bad album at all. Most of their best songs to that date, a decent production (!) and tight enough ...

Review of Unleashed In The East [Remastered] - Judas Priest

It's Judas Priest with a twist

Advantages: It's different to anything else released by the band, therefore deserves a listen
Disadvantages: maybe alienate a few fans

This is a very difficult album to review for me... the Priest were one of the first metal bands I became a fan of back in my teen days in 1978, so I've been with them every step of the way for the last 30 years now. Over that time they've released several classic albums... Stained Class, Killing Machine, British Steel, Screaming For Vengeance, Painkiller, and even the last album 'Angel Of Retribution'.
