See You On The Other Side
Review of See You On The Other Side [PA] - Korn by Russmann12

Advantages: Packed with catchy, yet dark and twisted riffs
Disadvantages: Very different sound compared to Korn's previous albums

'See You On The Other Side' is Korn's first studio album released since the departure of guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch from the band. The sound is notably different from previous albums, yet none of the songs sound empty. The album is crammed with heavy, head banging tunes such as 'Twisted Transistor' and 'Liar', but it also contains a fair share of slower, eerie songs, my personal favourites being 'Throw Me Away' and 'Tearjerker'. Almost every song ...
...that Korn have experimented with their sound on this album. However, this is necessarily not a bad thing, as these sounds contribute to the creepy atmosphere this album creates. Overall, 'See You On The Other Side' is a fantastic album, which explores a variety of styles that should appeal to rock fans in general, not just Korn fans. ... Read review

666 the number of the best album produced by man
Review of Number Of The Beast, The [ECD] - Iron Maiden by bbjbb

Advantages: Breataking riffs, smashing vocals, orgianl metal at its best biggest and loudest
Disadvantages: the album is near enough perfection

Number of the Beast is perhaps the best Iron Maiden Studio album ever produced. It captures the heart and soul of what Iron maiden are about from the opening chord on invaders to the last drum beat at the end of hallowed be thy name. This album is simply a masterpiece. In the early 1980's Iron Maiden were propelling themselevs into stardome. However they had to change vocalists from the falling apart drug ridden Paul Di'anno to the electrifying ...
...the albums most famous works. Number of the beast and Run to the hills. Number of the beast hightens the idea that metal is the devils work and thus lead to several thousand people trying to get metal bands banded in the mid 80's. But the music is fantastic, the guitar line is simple yet hihgly effective, the vocals join in and then the drums before dramatic pauses and ongoing verses then the awsome chrous followed by a fantastic solo. Run to the ... Read review

Brave New World
Review of Brave New World - Iron Maiden by Chris27

Advantages: Bruce is Back!
Disadvantages: How can there be any. Bruce Dickinson has returned!

...2000. Iron Maiden returned with Brave New World and a new line. Gone was former Maiden frontman Blaze Bayley and Returning was the Heavy Metal legend that is Bruce Dickinson. After a number of solo projects bruce has returned to Iron Maiden and was also joined by former guitarist Adrian Smith turning the band into a six piece and bringing back the classic line up of the late 80's that brought us albums of the highest quality. Seventh Son of a Seventh ...
...the best on the album, Brave new world. This is classic Maiden. Othern highlights on this album are The Thin line between love and hate and the second single Out of the silent planet. This album is classic Maiden but doesn't feel dated and fits in amongst todays artists. If you own Seventh son and don't own brave new world. Then you should its maiden back to thier best. ... Welcome to the Dance of Death
Review of Death On The Road (Live) - Iron Maiden by KronEx

Advantages: Lots of hits, great sound quality, one of the best bands ever
Disadvantages: Short playing time, not as good as "Rock In Rio"

I don't see myself as an insider of the rock- and metalszene in Europe, but nevertheless I recognize, of which topics metalfans are annoyed. This might be the 12th DVD single release by Manowar or black salsify-eating Black Metal bands throwing heads of dead sheeps into their audiences (me, I will going to bombard Mayhem with the skull of an elephant next time I see them on stage. Just for fun.). Or even a new live album by Iron Maiden. For a better ...
...The Road" is not really the very first live release from this favourite band of mine. Back catalogue already containing various live albums, for instance the legendary "Live After Death" from 1986, which is still considered to be the best Iron Maiden live album ever by lots of Maiden maniacs. Furthermore, there is the double album "A Real Live/Dead One" (I think it's from 1993), which was ony some comfort for the listeners due to leadsinger Bruce ... Read review
