Disadvantages: Very 'samey-samey' and forgettable.

...this a concept album about... shallow life unsuprisingly. I, personally, think the tunes and lyrics are deliberatly simple to highlight this concept. It actually adds depth in an odd way. Normally im into Children of Bodom, Slipknot, BFMV and alot more of the screamo bands. But the Avenged Sevefold have a truly unique style, the vocalist is amazing. I bought this album, and loved it. First and best

Advantages: Original, Interesting
Disadvantages: Some song can seem a little similar

This was back before the lead singer Dave Williams died, and they have gone downhill since. This album is very raw and heavy, but was unlike other bands at the same time. The biggest hit from this album was track 2 'Bodies'. This song is very aggressive but also catchy and original.
