Back catalogue already containing various live albums, for instance the legendary "Live After Death" from 1986, which is still considered to be the best Iron Maiden live album ever by lots of Maiden maniacs. Advantages: Bruce is Back!
Disadvantages: How can there be any. Bruce Dickinson has returned!

Advantages: Packed with catchy, yet dark and twisted riffs
Disadvantages: Very different sound compared to Korn's previous albums

'See You On The Other Side' is Korn's first studio album released since the departure of guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch from the band. The sound is notably different from previous albums, yet none of the songs sound empty. The album is crammed with heavy, head banging tunes such as 'Twisted Transistor' and 'Liar', but it also contains a fair share of slower, eerie songs, my personal favourites being 'Throw Me Away' and 'Tearjerker'. Heard a sound like a backstreet symphony

Advantages: Awesome vocals
Disadvantages: None

I'm a person that LOVES vocalists with amazingly powerful voices, and Danny Bowes has just that. From the remnants of Terraplane, Thunder came along and blew everyone away. The screamish, deep vocals and the heavy guitar are something that set Thunder apart from other bands. This has to be my favourite album from them because I love every single song on the album, and that really doesn't happen often. Firstly, 'She's So Fine' comes on and it is definately ...
...great guitar opening and then you're hit with the insane vocals. 'Dirty Love' appears after this and has to be my favourite, it has a line-dancing kind of beat to it which would normally put me off, but this just makes it easier to get in to. The ballad of the album has to be, 'Don't Wait For Me' it's a powerful ballad that adds a different tone to the album. 'Backstreet Symphony' is definately a great track, really keeps the high standard of work ...

Review of Backstreet Symphony - Thunder

The best Megadeth compilation ever released!

Advantages: Great tracks, Remastered Versions, Lots of Tracks
Disadvantages: Missing a couple of Megadeth Classics

Well, where to start, this CD is an absolute masterpiece, with 17 of the best Megadeth songs there are to choose from! As soon as I played this cd for the first time I was greeted with the familiar intro of my personal favorite song "Holy Wars". The songs are all good and ordered perfectly to compliment each other side by side. The only bad point I can stress is that it is missing Megadeth classics such as "Trust" and "Tornado of Souls" but, lets ...
...Megadeth ones out there isnt a particularly easy task, and I think Dave Mustaine has picked 17 Great songs so what more can you do!? Also, I will add, I purchased the Special Edition version with the DVD and the DVD is equally as good treating you to live versions of songs like "Holy Wars" and "Prince of Darkness" My advice would be to buy this cd! Its a great starting point to get you into Megadeth and if you are already an experienced "droogie" ...
