Consistent High Energy Album

Advantages: Catchy, High Energy, Poetic
Disadvantages: Not the best vocals

...the California based punk legends and will probably always be my favorite Ranicd album. It is consistently catchy and energizing from the first song to the last, and definately contains some of their best hits such as "Time Bomb" and "Ruby Soho". The lyrics are meaningful and nostalgic, commemorating lost friends, fun times with past band members, and memories of growing up together. Tim Armstrong, the lead singer and main songwriter, shows himself ...
...as "As Wicked" and "Junkie Man" which both tell stories of people living tough lives. While a stunning voice had never been one of Tim's strengths, the catchy chorus lines and poetic lyrics seem to make up for anything lacked in vocals and he still manages to carry a tune. Well they've now been going 15 years believe it or not and here they are with another great album! Here is a little run throught of all the songs and what they are about: And Now for something completely similar: This song is a short intro which consists of fast guitar riffs and fast drumming,and of course some singing, a great way to kick off the album! Take two Placebos and call me lame:This is a micky take out of "Placebo" as with most NoFx albums ...

It's Time To Turn The Tide...

Advantages: Awesome recording with perfect blend of songs and flawless result
Disadvantages: Couple of tracks that are difficult to get used to

Advantages: Err, a few ok songs, they are great musicians.
Disadvantages: The majority of the songwriting is terrible, 90% of songs sound the same
