...1996 on Capitol Records, and Hello Rockview followed two years later. They were re-released as a double album in 2000. Later full length albums by the band are Borders and Boundaries (2000), Anthem (2003) and In with the out crowd (2006). Hello Rockview is more 'mainstream' Less Than Jake, being classic punky ska, while songs on Losing Streak put heavier emphasis on a ska style horn section. Advantages: riffs, drums, lyrics Disadvantages: maybe a bit too heavy for some people
this is their first mainstream album and boy is it amazing! if your a metal or thrash fan then this album is right up your street. the mixture of awesome riffs, double bass pedals and the odd movie qoute fit together perfectly to make this a huge favourite in my collection. all the songs on the album are perfect but the main ones to listen out for have to be 'romance is dead', 'its hard to speak without a tongue' and 'anasasis'. sounds like:

Advantages: an excellent album Disadvantages: what?!! none
...The Changing Of Times, and They're Only Chasing Safety; I would say this is probably the most varied of their albums. While it is mainly modern death/heavy metal stuff, it also has some emotional choir-type melodies, and the retro-ish 80's Song.
The main highlights of this album for me would be Down, Set, Go; which has an epic motion to it, combining screaming with normal singing for a great effect, and The 80's Song, which left me speechless with ...
Advantages: 14 amazing tracks, another fine release from King Prawn Disadvantages: May not be to everyones taste.
...King Prawn and has now got itself a label and that label is Golf Records. It is a 14 track album of the usual mix of ska, punk, hip hop and metal. You never know what to expect with a King Prawn album as they draw so many influences and this is reflected in their songs as every one is different with many different genres intertwined to create that sound that only King Prawn can.
Each and every one of these songs is superb in its own right but for ... ...out to.
You have got to admire this band for what they do even if you are not in to it (god forbid) as they are pure genius to pull off what they do and the way they remain rather underground is quite unbelievable as they deserve mass respect. Music like this does not come by sitting on your arse all day doing nothing - music like this comes from years of practice and improvements and this is exactly what the band has done. They have been around ...
This was the first Less Than Jake album I bought, after having heard "Gainesville Rock City" round a mates house. After hearing that song I really wanted to find out what the rest of their music was like. I put the CD on and upon hearing the bassy intro to the first track, pretty much fell in love with the band. The CD itself is upbeat, chirpy and bouncy as you would expect ska-punk to be, but at the same time they also manage to vary the pace - ...
