Hail to thee, Hammerfall!
Advantages: Heavy, catchy, no bad tracks Disadvantages: Can't think of any
...album of quality heavy/power metal. Renegade could well be their best one.
As there are no fillers on this album, I feel it necessary to go through each track.
1. Templars of Steel - The ominous sounding intro leads into an awesome chugging riff which sets the tone for the whole album. You will be raising your fist to the sky as you chant "Let your voice speak for the revolution!" at the top of your voice.
2. Keep the Flame Burning - Here they ... ...along with it.
3. Renegade - The title track is a typical example of the kind of power metal that has made Hammerfall so famous. It starts with the sound of a motorbiking revving up, followed by the famous Renegade riff. Once again the chorus is so catchy and singable. Hail to thee, hammerfall!
4. Living in Victory - The best thing about this song is the fantastic solo section. Virtually every Hammerfall track has a brilliant solo section but this ...

The crusaders of Metal are back
Advantages: Some true gems are found here Disadvantages: The album tend to repeat itself
...to the end.
2: Legacy of kings - Time for the titletrack which starts of with a guitarriff followed by Joacim starting to sing. The song reminds a lot of the previous track to the tempo and structure, but this chorus is unforgettable with parts of it sung by backingvocals "Legacy of kings (Legacy of kings) forever to survive, we're riding the winds (Riding on the winds) unchained and free, alive forevermore" A nice and very catchy song, will definately ... ...Let the hammerfall - This song slows the tempo down a bit, with some quite heavy guitars reminding of those found on Judas Priest's Painkiller album. The chorus isn't as catchy as the previous two songs, but there is a very catchy guitarsolo here instead and once again there is an over 20 second long oooooh-ooo part in this song, but this time sung by the backing vocals. The song tend to be a little repetetive and doesn't just keep the high standard ...

Rage Against The Machine Album Review
Advantages: Hard, unconventional rock Disadvantages: An acquired taste
Rap-Metal group Rage Against the Machine released their self-titled debut album in 1992, but the music is just as relevant today as it was back then. Songs like 'Take the Power Back' and 'Freedom' are about individual exploitation by the cultural, social, and political systems in society, and how the people must be willing to rise up and overcome such oppression. You may have also recently heard about the small matter of 'Killing in the Name' beating ... ...when you first listen to Rage is that they mean business. The whole album is intended to provide voice to the silent minority: Those individuals that feel neglected and abused are given hope through the band's resonant, unashamed, confrontational expression. Guitarist Tom Morello's anomalous riffs, rhythmic special effects and extended tapping techniques were some of the most powerful sounds to come from a guitar in that era, and remain unchallenged ...

My favourite album
Advantages: Unique and Brilliant consistancey of good tracks Disadvantages: Old fashion looking album design
Normally im into Children of Bodom, Slipknot, BFMV and alot more of the screamo bands. But the Avenged Sevefold have a truly unique style, the vocalist is amazing. I bought this album, and loved it. I think the best on the album is The beast and the harlot. I truly love this band and cannot wait until their next tour. The consistancy of the tracks is also very good with tracks like afterlife, bat country, Blinded in chains, MIA and gunslinger deserving ...
