Brave New World Advantages: Bruce is Back! Disadvantages: How can there be any. Bruce Dickinson has returned! ...2000. Iron Maiden returned with Brave New World and a new line. Gone was former Maiden frontman Blaze Bayley and Returning was the Heavy Metal legend that is Bruce Dickinson. After a number of solo projects bruce has returned to Iron Maiden and was also joined by former guitarist Adrian Smith turning the band into a six piece and bringing back the classic line up of the late 80's that brought us albums of the highest quality. Seventh Son of a Seventh ... ...the best on the album, Brave new world. This is classic Maiden. Othern highlights on this album are The Thin line between love and hate and the second single Out of the silent planet. This album is classic Maiden but doesn't feel dated and fits in amongst todays artists. If you own Seventh son and don't own brave new world. Then you should its maiden back to thier best. ... A Matter Of Life And Death Advantages: Epic songs leave you feeling satisfied, album is everything it needs to be. Disadvantages: Noise can in some points be a little distored in the heavy parts. Yet another fabulous album by Maiden. This album has lots of epic songs in it, These Colours Dont Run and Brighter Than A Thousand Suns are my perticular favorites, about 7 minutes long and 9 minutes long respectively. In a lot of the song on this album Maiden go for a unison sound, and having 5 legendary rockers going staccarto just sounds awesome. This album is deffinately going to appear anyone liking Machine Heads latest album The Blackening ... ...out some real belters that are just the right length to scream out yourself, you arent left ghasping for air and still thinking "how the hell can he still be holding that note!?". Different World has to be my recommendation if your in a mood to get blown away by some killer vocals. I love the guitarring its really catching and the drums are excellent. Lyrics are immense and stick in your head 'So have no fear and dont look back the afterlife awaits' I love that line espesially I dont know why. The track in itself is just indescribable to be honest, its probably one of the best songs I have heard from this band.
