Advantages: Good combo of heavy rock and mellow music. Disadvantages: not much wrong quite a good album
Limp Bizkit returned to the Rock scene September 2003 with there latest offering “Results May Vary”. This was the first album back after the love thing between Britney and Fred. People expected it to show his feelings for her and in particular women. This was Limp Bizkit’s first album with out the well know guitarist Wes Borlan (The guy who wore paint!). New guitarist Mike shows his skills on tracks like Underneath The Gun, and Let It Go.
The cover ... ...on the front. Inside the disc is like the top of medicine bottle. Then when you lift up the CD its looks like the inside of a bottle and it has capsules with the limp bizkit logo on them. A clever play on the title of the album. Track Listings
1.Re-Entry (Intro with All Around The World) – Very good intro for an intro.
2. Eat You Alive – one of the best songs on the album. Very heavy song the kind of song that needs to be played loud. One of the ...
Advantages: There are a lot of fine moments here. Disadvantages: Not all of the album is particularly impressive.
This greatest hits collection from Limp Bizkit was finally released in late 2005. With every band on earth seemingly having a greatest hits album available these days, it was only a matter of time before Limp Bizkit would be issued with one. What I love most about this release is the refusal of the band to spell 'Hits' with its correct ending of an 's'. Through spelling it with a 'z', Limp Bizkit are being highly original and Fred Durst continues ... ...This greatest hits collection from Limp Bizkit is definitely an album that I would recommend. The album spans the first four albums of the band; Three Dollar Bill Yall$, Significant Other, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water, and Results May Vary. The first three of these albums I was a great fan of, the fourth I paid little attention to at all when it was released, but most of this album is greatly impressive and whilst there are a ...
...Bassist Sam Rivers. Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water was released in 2000 and was the first album that I listened to by the band even though it is the bands 3rd album. The track listing for Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water is: 1. Intro 2. Hot Dog 3. My Generation 4. Full Nelson 5. My Way 6. Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle) 7. Livin' It Up 8. The One 9. Getcha Groove On 10. Take a Look Around 11. It'll Be OK 12. Boiler ... ...Outro There are also some really famous guest stars on this album, including Redman, Xzibit and DMX. Favourite Tracks Rollin This was one of the more popular Limp Bizkit songs, its just a really fun and funky song. This song did really well on the charts when it was released, and is maybe Limp Bizkits best known song. My Way This is a nicely mixed song about doing things your own way and not being worried about what other people think, if you like ...
Advantages: Great album from genre-defining band Disadvantages: Other Limp Bizkit albums are better
Limp Bizkit - Significant other (released on Flip/Interscope Records in 1999) is a fantastic album containing some fantastic tracks. These tracks include 'Nookie', the angry 'Break Stuff' and many others.
If you are a fan of metal, rock, rap, punk or if you are just generally a little rebel then this CD is perfect for you. If not, then you may like it and you may not. This CD is a great CD, but only to people who are into that sort of thing... This ... ...about it. I'm not being ageist but Limp really are a band for teenagers-early 20s and it would be a shame to see it go to somewhere it wouldn't be appreciated. Then again if you know you like this sort of music then go ahead!
This review was bad - sorry - but, in conclusion, this really is a great album from a unique band. I would buy it...
It seems I already have. ...
Advantages: New twist on the Bizkit Disadvantages: see review
If you're a LB fan, then you'll you know that they are the kings of Nu Metal - although many will quibble over what style of music they are.
They burst onto the scene with counterfeit and for those with sharp ears - you'll know that they provided the theme for the Mission Impossible movie (think it was the first film - but happy to be corrected).
After hits such as Rollin' and Generation X they spent 2000 - 2003 in the limelight, becoming mainstream. ... ...in concert in Manchester way back in 2000. This is a remix of their well known songs with the likes of Bubba Sparks and P.Diddy (or whatever he's called now) and also the Neptunes and Xzibit. They steer away from the metal side of their music and head off towards hip-hop - although this is not a bad thing. I'm not a particularly big hip-hop fan and the album doesn't offend me - in fact it makes the Bizkit alot easier to listen to. I manage to drive ...
