Metallica at their most complexed

Advantages: One of the best albums of it's era.
Disadvantages: Long complexed songs put some people off and the production is not amazing.

Metallica - Kill 'em All

Advantages: Pretty much created thrash metal
Disadvantages: The band is very inexperienced

...as the song that made Kill ‘em all. Lyrically this is in my eyes, not very good. Instrumentally though, I think this song has an amazing tune, an awesome solo and a brilliantly fast tempo. Advantages: Seemingly None

If you've listened to any metallica and you then proceed to listen to this you receive quite a shock, how does such a great band produce such a terrible album. The Saintly Metallica Get Angry.

Advantages: A welcome return with a much rawer sound.
Disadvantages: No Guitar solos.

2003 was marked with the reappearance of a Metallica studio album after 6 years wait from the previous album Reload.
