The best song EVER! Advantages: Too much to write Disadvantages: Don't mock 'em ...the soundtrack of my mate. Wake Up is the only song i've heard from Rage against the Machine but i reckon its amazing. Musically the chords, beats and drones are very complex, lyrically it's original and meaningfull. Rage against the Machine shine a whole new light on alternative music, i am sure that they will enspire many alternative groups in the future as Nirvana did in the early 90's. ... The composition, innovation and mood of the track hint at what is to come, but is relatively simple and easy going compared to later tracks. Confrontational Hardcore at it's Best Advantages: Heavier than their other albums, if you like that sort of thing Disadvantages: Heavier than their other albums, if you don't like that sort of thing 1996 saw the long awaited release of Rage Against the Machine's second album 'Evil Empire', a much darker and heavier album than their self titled debut. In league with their political stand point the title is in reference to the name given to the former Soviet Union by Ronald Regan and other conservatives.
