...music, their first mainstream album Hybrid Theory was an amazing collection of songs. This album has its own unique style of rock music combining scream singing, rapping and electric percussion. The track listing on this cd is: Papercut This is a great song about paranoia, this song really shows of the talents of all members in the band, it is mostly rapped and one of the best songs on the album. One Step Closer This is another amazing song though ... ...all tastes (like most of this album), this song is about not being able being close to breaking point after taking abuse from someone and taking a stand. With You This song is about not being able to get someone out of your head, even though they are distant and dont want you. This is another really great song on this album. Points of Authority This is a very confident song about taking a stand against some one whos self righteous, this song was ...
Advantages: One of the best albums of it's era. Disadvantages: Long complexed songs put some people off and the production is not amazing.
...this isn't catchy guitar hooks and sing-a-long choruses.
This is one for eshablished Metallica fans only I'd say. If you haven't listened to much Metallica this is probably not a good place to start; however if you like Metallica's earlier album such as 'Kill 'em All' and 'Master Of Puppets' you will more than likely enjoy this.
The tracks that really stand out to me are 'Blackened', '...And Justice For All' and 'One'. 'One' is the most famous ... ...his senses during a war and now is trapped unable to communicate with the world. Saying that's the most popular track should give you an idea of what this album is like!
Many people have said that the guitars and too buzzy and thin on this album and the drums are too hollow and clicky. Although this is true at times you have to remember the era this album was made in. A time when most metal bands were producing buzzy guitars and clicky drums. This ...

...and the forming of supergroup Audioslave with hard rock vocalist Chris Cornell, perhaps he then wanted to write grate songs which, "should rock rocking-chairs and send people to sleep". As with the Rage Against The Machines records, only the guitar, bass, drum and vocals make up the sounds in Audioslave's self-titled debut. The hard-rock riffing remains, but whilst Tom Morello does strum some chords, these are not so noteworthy as the guitar intros, ... ...The Highway' start off with sounds similar to an helicopter and an organ respectively. But those for 'Set It Off', 'Hypnotize' and 'Light My Way' do not hit the same heights and are perhaps a trick too far - the latter two are perhaps the weakest tracks for me, and it's not as if the album wasn't already long enough (just over an hour). Chris Cornell is at his best when belting out notes - such power allows him to bypass the nasally head voice - ...
Korns greatest hits. What can i say! even if you are not a korn fan you will most probably recognise a lot of the songs as they are remakes. They do however, make a fantastic job of making the music sound unbelievable. I am a great fan of rock n roll so Korn has everything a rock n roll fan could ask for!
The first time i saw Korn live was at Leeds festival this year and they sounded great. I am off to see them again soon in Manchester.
Back to ... ...(if not all) of Korns greatest ever songs.
The CD was released in October 2004
The album works backwards, from their most current work ("y'all want a single") to their very first single ("blind"). The album contains 19 tracks, and three of those are extra songs, including a remix of "freak on a leash." At first, I thought it'd be better for them to start with their earliest work and then go from there, as you'd be able to see how much their music ...
