Advantages: Contains a vast diversity of music from David Coverdale's post Deep Purple carrier Disadvantages: Nothing, unless you hate Whitesnake (and if you did you wouldn't be reading this)
Whitesnakes 30th Anniversary Collection appears to be a glorified greatest hit album. However it's more than this. Its 52 tracks contain live tracks, the original version of Here I Go Again, songs from David Coverdale's (DC's) album with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin and of course songs from DC's solo work. The three CD's cover the carrier of DC after he left Deep Purple.
The first disc with tracks like Ready An' Willing and Fool For Your Loving (live) ... ...would say the first disc is best of Whitesnakes blues. The second CD contains the Coverdale Page songs as well as more live songs and a collection of Whitesnake hits. The third CD contains the song Best Years from Whitesnakes latest album and We Wish You Well the song Whitesnake wrote for their audiences but have never preformed live. The songs are very original and truly unique. Overall these three discs are excellent and anyone who likes Whitesnake ...
Advantages: It's the best Whitesnake album in 20 years! Disadvantages: It might be their last!
...was still a very very good album, but sadly nothing since has been worthy of the Whitesnake name. Until now that is.... This album straddles the old and the new(er) versions of the band and picks from the best of both worlds. The current band has something that was missing from the late 80's and 90's band line-ups - and that something is 'soul'. This band has a feel for the blues that previous guitarists including the widdly widdly king Steve Vai, ... ...a couple of very good ballads, in the style that only David Coverdale can do.... and that voice... oh yeah, he may be well in his mid 50's but that voice is still in very fine fettle indeed. Sounding more mature, as it should do, perhaps a wee bit deeper and more resonant than the early years, there must be a good few years left in this beast yet! All I can say is, if you're at all a fan - buy it, you won't be disappointed!
The tracks - 1. Best ...
Advantages: The first of a two part album Disadvantages: You have to buy two separate albums
...is very unusual. The Neon God Part 1 subtitled The Rise (the second installment subtitled The Demise) is a 14 track cd that tells the story of a young orphan (Jesse Slane) who has been abused by the nuns that run the orphanage he is incarcerated in. Each of the 14 tracks charts a part of the story as the young orphan tries to come to terms with his own existence, the abuse he is suffering, the hypocrisy of religion, the discovery of the power of ... ...will worship him as the Neon God.
Each Track is loaded with classic W.A.S.P riffs that meld seamlessly with front man Blackie Lawless unique and unforgettable vocals, creating modern symphony that carry's on from track to track.
The tracks get better and better as they progress through the album culminating with The Raging Storm which will bring you out in goose bumps. Although there are 14 tracks four of them (2. why am I here, 5. why am I nothing, ...
Advantages: The CD Cover makes a good frisbee Disadvantages: The Worst of W.A.S.P.
"Helldorado" is the eighth in the list of many W.A.S.P albums and was released in 1999 on the return of W.A.S.P'S original guitarist Chris Holmes. After a very successful experiment with extreme metal with the release of their 7th album K.F.D (Kill Fuck Die) W.A.S.P tried to go back to the power chord sounds of their first two albums W.A.S.P and The Last Command and only partly succeeded. Although the sound is reminiscent of the first two classic ... ...Although all the songs on this album have some good riffs, in general they are all mediocre metal at best. If W.A.S.P has one bad album this is it and is for only the most die hard W.A.S.P fans. This is an album that looks like W.A.S.P, was written by W.A.S.P was even sung by W.A.S.P but is in no way W.A.S.P. (I wonder if that's why Chris Holmes left the band again) You won't see too many of these tracks making to the live set on their next tour ...

Review of Helldorado - WASP
Advantages: SOME OF THE BEST 80's METAL RIFFS EVER. TRUE ROCK AND ROLL! Disadvantages: SOME WEAK SONGS. BUT MADE UP FOR BY OTHER AMAZING ONES.
...on the album:
THE HEADLESS CHILDREN RATING ***
Very haunting and atmospheric with the Gregorian chanting. Reminds you of The Omen.
MEAN (MUTHAFU**ING) MAN *****
The reason I bought this Album !
The most aggresive energetic attitude bearing macho track on the album. A tough-guys theme. The best riff and overall guitar work on a forceful torrent of testosterone induced ballsy- fighting, don't mess with me, F*** YOU, type of song. My favorite.
... ...and the outcast.
WASPs Headless Children album is a sophisticated work of genius that brings glam rock and dark aggressive metal together in a way that pleases the ear and satisfies your guitar loving soul.
If you are offended by the swearing and attitiude of the band then you better not listen to this, but musically, it's for the headbanging rocker/rock chick that lives within.
Maybe I'm getting old :) ...
