Advantages: Hallowed Be Thy Name, Run To The Hills, Number Of The Beast Disadvantages: You dont want the album to end, but im afraid, it does.
...Run To The Hills and Number Of The Beast have to be the next best two but every song on this album is good to listen to, you'll have to pick your own favorites. I've heard some people say that Children Of The Damned is a fabulous song but i dont quite get it to be honest its not as hard as i like my metal, still listenable though. This album is the basis to Maidens current sound, i think its when they were at there most rocky point, although A Matter ...
Advantages: Has some stunning songs on there. Disadvantages: Not enough bass sound
...this album to me is the weakest of the 4 Rage studio albums. It's still a very good album, with some very memorable and well-written songs, but I don't personally think it compares to Evil Empire, the Self-Titled album and even Renegades. It's a top album nonetheless though, and is worthy of it's own praise.

Track Reviews
--------------------
Testify: 3 minutes 30 seconds.
Starts with a strong riff, and from what I've seen, really gets the crowd going at a concert. Good choice of an opening song, with Zack shouting the lyrics as if he was making a speech. Clever lyrics and a good riff to back it up make this a promising song.
8/10
Guerilla Radio: 3 minutes ...
Advantages: Iron Maiden. The Trooper and a new drummer Disadvantages: depends if you are a fan or not.
Piece of mind was originally called food for thought but was changed at the last minute to Piece of mind because the band decided it was a more suitable name. Released in 1983 it reached number three in the album chart but failed to get as big a reception as hoped. To me this is as close to a masterpiece as you can get with some outstanding vocals and some brilliant lyrics. The whole album is littered with gems and a couple of classic tracks and ... ...song just before the instrumental piece with the sound of a faint machine gun. It's hard to hear at first but after you have listened to it a couple of times you are able to pick it out more clearly.
Revelations
This can be quite a confusing song at first but a couple of listens later it starts to make sense. This is a deep song about religion and philosophy full of double meanings and sometimes cryptic statements with references to different religions ...
Advantages: Great listening for any rock fan Disadvantages: You might not like rock

I WITNESS
‘I witness, a time and a place that never dies, still frozen in time. This darkness, the only place that I can hide, I witness, a dream.’
The first song on the album opens it nicely. It starts off on an even pace and picks up as the song progresses, a lot of drums coming through on this ... ...on your hands, from a cross of thorns.’
Good following song for ‘I Witness’ as the pace is slowed down and begins with again, a slow drum beat and guitar solo.
PHSYCHOPHOBIA
‘My colours all ran dry, and now I see the world in black and white. It’s too late now, it’s time to kiss the rainbow goodbye.’
This is quite a dark one with a lot of reference to his state of mind, good imagery on this one and the pace changes towards the end.

Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
The Prophecy
The Clairvoyant
Only The Good Die Young
(3 video's as listed above)
The long haired British heavy metalist's, bring us another great maserpiece.
Seventh Son has a fantastic lyrical content like poetry. Based on the Eggiption era with Prophecys and downward slopes, like on the pyramids. As always Bruce Dickinson makes it sound realy easy to sing along to, but some of the tracks ... ...strenth to strength with the lyrical content in the Maiden albums and they just keep getting better.
As always great riffs and solo's from the guitarists and that mad drummer Nicko really pulls out the stops and provides excellent drum riffs and solo's.
With the extra video's this is deffinatly the must have for the Iron Maiden fans.
Original Album cd would set you back a mear £5.99
This around the £10-£14.99 mark but well worth it. ...
