Schmilsson showcases the singer/songwriter's light-hearted worldview to best advantage. It remains one of the best, most consistent and least dated albums from an early-1970s era not known for underplayed, unpretentious subtlety. Here you get strong interpretative singing (how ironic that this tunesmith's biggest hits were covers, such as Badfinger's "Without You"), inventive arranging (the hilarious, marble-mouthed "Coconut") and distinctive melodicism (check out that lovely paean to the stars, "The Moonbeam Song"). In keeping with the domesticated figure on the cover--complete with housecoat, cigarette and waiting refrigerator--the mood is laid-back and homey; Nilsson's multi-octave voice was never so full of life and there's a palpable feeling of comfort in both the production and the material. Other LPs (like the John Lennon-produced Pussy Cats and the essential Nilsson Sings Newman) have their moments, but this is where to begin any Nilsson collection. --Don Harrison
Advantages: untouched from the movie, bril quality love it! Disadvantages: unnessicary bonus tracks
...**What Is It?**
Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire soundtrack CD is the original music from the highly sucessful film. Unlike past soundtracks this actully has a variety of artists but the main composer is Paterick Doyle. The other 2 artists you see on this CD are Abigail Doyle and Jarvis Cocker.
**Why Buy The Soundtrack?**
If you've seen the movie (or been dragged to it by children) then you will have noticed that the music plays a huge part in the movie. This CD has all the music and a little bit extra, untouched from the original movie. It is also a collectors piece as well so for any budding collectors out there!
**Is It Differerent To Other Potter Movies?**
Yes. It is quite unique in its own right. It is alot darker than previous movies and has alot more originality, steering away from the all to familiar music from...

Advantages: Great quality, Great music and untouched from the movie! Disadvantages: Very different from other Harry Potter movies so won't appeal to everyone
...**What Is It?**
Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix - Chamber Orchestra Of London CD is the original, unaltered soundtrack to go with the new Harry Potter movie. It is composed by the talented Nicholos Hooper.
**Why Buy The Soundtrack?**
This unaltered soundtrack can be bought for any Harry Potter fan or classical music fan. If you have seen the movie, then you will rememeber the music and then rememeber your favourite scenes better. Thats my theory and one of the reasons i bought it. Another reason to buy it is the price, its not bad at all.
**Is It Differerent To Other Potter Movies?**
This in my opion, is very different to ast Harry Potter soundtracks. Having owning each one myself, there is a very big comparison between this one and the Philosphers Stone soundtrack. This has very dark, even scary music while the first...

...THIS REVIEW IS NOT FOR HARRY POTTER THE VARIOUS ARTISTS. THIS REVIEW HAS BEEN PLACED IN THE WRONG AREA AND WILL BE MOVED SHORTLY.
Now I know your probably reading this review thinking that this is about the Harry Potter collection-various artists. And to be fair this review is what it's about but it's not about music. It's about the books and the movies.
I recently went to ASDA and purchased Harry Potter 1, 2 and 3 for £9 each which I thought was a real bargain as they were all 2 disk DVD sets. I do enjoy the films but if I had to choose I would defiantly choose paper over plastic as the books are magical and far better then the movies and hopefully many of you will agree.
The movies are brilliant and do capture some of the magic that lies within the books. However the books contain much more as there are no pictures within...
