Advantages: Not any really bad tracks on the whole album Disadvantages: None really
...(sorry, Bay City Rollers) and “Seasons In The Sun” by Terry Jacks, and the wonderful “Without You” by Nilsson.
From the 60s we have Freda Payne’s “Band of Gold” (which was always a big favourite of mine) Marmalade’s “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, The Monkees with “I’m A Believer”, Sandie Shaw with “Long Live Love” and the lateJimReeves with “Distant Drums” (nice to see a song from "Gentleman Jim") Also “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Gerry and The Pacemakers and last but certainly not least The King himself with “It’s Now or Never”.

Advantages: Great Music, Daft lyrics.. the boy can sing! Disadvantages: None
...If you like Vic Reeves and his 'zany' sense of humour, then you'll like this album. 'I Will Cure You' is full of witty, clever, often humerous and frequently silly lyrics such as ..
'I held your hand whilst you had a wee,
Splish, splosh, splash the urine up against a tree.
You shook your penis and where the droplets fell,
Grew a beautiful woodland glade.' (Summer of '75)
'Harry Seacombe wants his pie and peas baby' (Meals on wheels)
But this isn't just a silly album like some of your dad's Baron Knights records, it contains some seriously good tunes such as the hit Dizzy (with the Wonder Stuff) and a dance version of the classic Pre FA Cup Final hymn 'Abide With Me'.
Ihave this album on vinyl and its one of my most treasured posessions. It will cure you.

He later finds out that she lived several generations ago, and is already dead - If he ever wants to meet her, he must travel back in time, which he succeeds in doing...anyway, I'm not here to review the film (I may at a later date)...on with the music...
