love of a package !! (I did tell the hubby so!!) we had to pay for additional overnight accommodation costs in Paros-(see the small print in the back of the brochure!) but had we been travelling independently we wouldn't have had a leg to stand on and would have had to pay for flights and all....

Enjoy early in the season to avoid the Melteme... unless you don't mind an additional day or two on a fantastic Greek island and a hectic journey home!!

Advantages: Good food, nice atmosphere Disadvantages: Something not quite perfect, a little too busy
Di Maggios, as the name may suggest, are a string of Italian restaurants situated in and around the Glasgow area. I will be reviewing the city centre restaurant specifically which is situated in Royal Exchange Square but I believe that the quality and atmosphere have been similar in their other restaurants so would (slightly tentatively since I haven't been to them all!) recommend the others equally.
I hadn't booked the restaurant and so was a little concerned that I would have to wait as it was a Friday night. Luckily there was room and my partner and I were seated straight away but it can get quite busy so I would recommend booking just to be sure if you really want to come here. From the start the waiter managed to achieve the right balance of being friendly but not intruding on us-my personal preference is when a waiter keeps out ...

Nelson's Bar is situated within The Grosvenor Arms Pulford Hotel, a beautiful sandstone manor house set back from the main Wrexham Road in Pulford, Chester. Not to be confused with Ciro's Brasserie, the alternative eatery within the hotel and which, as can be seen from one of my previous reviews, I would not personally recommend, Nelson's Bar is a very relaxed, informal restaurant which serves a wide variety of lovely food, and at the same time, is not overly expensive.
My last visit to Nelson's Bar was just a couple of months ago when we were invited out for lunch to celebrate my auntie's birthday. We are a fairly informal, laid back lot and for this kind of get together, we always look out for a restaurant with good food and a nice atmosphere, yet one where we can chill out without having to worry whether my four year old is going ...
