overlooking a place called Who-ville.
Heis hates Christmas and everything about it including the inhabitats of Who-ville ? the Whos.
The wonderful cartoon sketches of the Grinch standing in his cave overlooking the little, snow-covered homes below makes all children giggle and gasp. I believe it?s the way the picture is completely black & white apart from his glowing eyes.
This is a complete contrast to the next page that explodes into reds and pinks showing the Who girls and boys making lots of noise, around the Christmas tree and playing so free ? oh god ? I?ve got the Seuss rhyming bug!!!
The following part of the story shows the Whos and their feast (the colour explosion still with this busy scene) but the ending sentence letting us now the Grinch couldn?t stand the feast in the least.
As the story progresses we find out about ...
other and from other people this takes more time as we like to know who each present is from especially the ones for the children so they can thank the person.
Phew we will all be quite hungry by now as it will be at least 10 o'clock or hopefully later so we will have a good cooked breakfast that will set us up for the day.
We will then all get showered and changed ready to drive to my mum and dads just over an hour away (we will visit the cemetry before getting there) there, there will be more presents (children are too spoilt nowadays)
And we are going to an Indian restaurant there, one that we used to go to when we lived round there. It is getting popular now doing this as they have started to do traditional Christmas dinner too (thats the only reason my mum will go and she did enjoy it when she went for the first time last year ...
