Advantages: Double CD. everything you need for Floyd. Great art illutrations. good value for money, an Inspirational album Disadvantages: none
...Echoes(The Best Of Pink Floyd), Is the most recent of Pink Floyd Albums in the past few years. This Album is more 'Promotional' than any of the other albums released.
I have many Pink Floyd Album including 'Is There Anybody Out There?' (special limited edition boxset), but there is something very special about this album.
Of course the songs on this album are ones that you have probably heard before, but the way this album has been compiled is special in the respect that every song goes in together and in my opinion creates a theme which makes CD1 different from CD2.
The song 'Echoes' itself is absolute genius. I have one time to many bought an album of many genres having the name of a song in the album also being the name of the album itself, and not being satisfied. This album in itself is just 'pure' satisfaction.

Advantages: Compliments Vanishing Point as a double purchase Disadvantages: If you don't like remixes then don't buy
...Not the easiest thing to do, remix an album that was already great, but 'The Scream' have done it again with this one. Echo Dek is a revamped, remixed version of their previous release 'Vanishing Point'. It sounds more dreamy than the original version, although all the orginal tunes have been paid maximum respect. It basically says what is written on the tin Echo Dek is loaded with, yes you've guessed it 'echo's'! With a new injection of talent Gary "Mani" Mounfield (previously of The Stone Roses) on Bass and Paul Mulraney on drums, the new...

Advantages: All great quality - Quality not quantity Disadvantages: Only 12 tracks, but otherwise none
...I would deffinatly not class my self as a big fan of Feeder, not because I do not like the style of music, but becasue they have never come into the limelight with a single that caught my attention. All this changed when I listend to the single 'Buck Rogers' from their album 'Echo Park'. The band have been around for a while now, but Echo Park is what really brought them nationwide fame. Feeder are perhaps a bit of a difficult band to class, mostly indie guitar, but on other tracks go more rock/nu-metal with louder sounds. For my personal preferance I do not like any Limp Bizkit/Korn, but will give anything from the Offspring to the Stereohonics to the Manics a listen. Feeder and this album in particular appealed to my tastes, and I would recomend it.
Echo Park contains the two singles 'Buck Rogers' and 'Seven Days in the Sun', which...
