Advantages: Ideal example of Miles' style at the time - funky and fun. Disadvantages: Not for everyone (but definitely worth a shot)
..., and he tells of how whites resented this. Regardless of the complicated history of Johnson - thrown fights, the suicide of his wife, conviction for violating a slavery law (a frame up, says Miles) - the music on this disc surely does him justice.
The Music
This disc gets the best of both worlds - it is typical Miles rock-jazz fusion from the period, but since it was a film score, it is infinitely more accessible than "Bitches Brew". It begins with rocky drums and a funky bass line. Michael Henderson is on fine form on the Fender bass throughout the album, as is JohnMcLaughlin on electric guitar. The two combine with Bill Cobham's relentless drum beat to get a real groove to the first track - Miles waits through two minutes of the rhythm section before playing. When he does, it is unmistakable Miles - the short, screaming phrases...

Advantages: Fun, girly and very catchy! Disadvantages: Some weak vocals and superficial lyrics
...Everybody knows the name Paris Hilton. Fact. Who hasn't seen Paris posing sultrily out from the pages of a glossy magazine or laughed at/admired her outrageous fashion choices? Who has failed to giggle at her antics on 'The Simple Life' or be amused by her ditzy answers to media probing? If you answered these questions in the negative (you lucky people who actually have your own lives and no time for celebrity gossip!) who, then, hasn't heard of the glamorous blonde's family business, the impressively successful chain of Hilton hotels?
Yes, Ms Hilton, these days, is hard to avoid. The sultry heiress has many strings to her bow, but what you may not know is that she has recently released her own album and - are you ready for this? - it is actually quite good! Yes, I said quite good. Let's not carried away, this album probably has...

...Another review for me on 911 - as you might already know from remember this band or reading my previous review 911 were a boyband in the 90s and made up of 3 members Lee, Spike and Jimmy with Lee being the main singer.
Moving on was their 2nd album and in my opinion was their best album from thier 4 that they made before splitting.
This song contains 12 songs, in which only 2 were not written by 911 and co written with JohnMcLaughlin (who is now famous for writing so many great songs for many great bands and artist including Westlife and anyone remember 5ive). Those 2 songs that were not written by 911 were Dont Walk Away which was written solo by JohnMcLaughlin and How do you want me to love you, which was a cover version.
The other 12 songs are "All I want is you" which was released by 911 in 1998. This is quite a slow poppy...
