Advantages: A very engaging novel with strong characters Disadvantages: None in my view
Review of Heart and Soul, a novel by Maeve Binchy

About the Book
Maeve Binchy is a popular author of romantic novels, generally set in Ireland. I have read several of her novels and I find that there is something rather comforting and familiar about picking up a Binchy novel. It is almost like meeting up with an old friend and catching up with his or her news. Binchy writes in a simple, yet totally structured fashion and her characters naturally unfold as the story progresses, I find myself wanting more as I finish each novel, the mark of a good storyteller in my opinion!

favourites, "The Gillette Cavalcade of Sports". This track follows a more conventional pattern, with the music dying down substantially for the verses, whilst the chorus' ("This isn't where, no this isn't where I found you") are still as crushing as ever. Later on in the song is a small, purpose recorded piece of commentary from a race, which, as revealed through the lyrics, is actually a race between the announcers heart, mind, body and soul. It won't take you long to realise that it's Palumbo's voice. A few comedic lines are thrown in for effect ("Heh, that was a good one, Bob!"), before a really straightforward and thumping bridge, leading into the chorus again, and we head towards the end of the track. Another absolute cracker.
Track ten is "Trailer Park Jesus", and it opens in a different style to the other songs, with a simple rhythm ...
Advantages: free game Disadvantages: tactical, requires thinking
Hearts is a game you can find almost anywhere. It's more than likely on your PC as one of the pre installed games you find in applications. It's available on all the free gaming sites online, to be played against other people or computer generated opponents.
-Idea of game-
The idea of the game is to get rid of your stockpile of cards without gaining any of the heart cards as they mean big points, and this is a game where you try to collect the least amount of points possible.
-How to play-
The game is played with four players, and the deck of 52 cards is dealt equally between the four. Spend some time quickly sorting your cards into suits at this point. One thing to remember is that each heart card has a point value of one and if you are unlucky enough to have the Queen of spades at the end of the game, this is worth thirteen ...
