Advantages: Great previous series Disadvantages: Comnig up to its expiry date!
Heartbeat is a weekly program shown every Sunday at 8pm on ITV. (Channel 3) This last week gone was unfortunately the last in the series but I'm sure the next series will be out soon and I hope just as good. Heartbeat is one of the longest showing TV programs that I've known, it has been around for years and years but has only recently grabbed the attention of the millions of people in our country. The drama was aimed at older people, a police drama set in the small village of Aidensfield out in the countryside but recently I've realised the program has become more of an interest to younger people like myself. Instead of talking about Eastenders and Brookie, many people have turned to Heartbeat! Just how un-real can it get!
The program which is a 60's drama set in Aidensfield, a lovely set but unfortunately the village Aidensfield ...
Advantages: excellent stories, good strong characters Disadvantages: Claude Greengrass has gone!
Since PC Nick Rowan (played by Nick Berry) graced our screens several years ago I was immeadeatley addicted to Sunday nights television through the winter months.
The program had excellent story lines based around the North Yorkshire dales, a beautiful part of the country.
Set in the late 1960's everything has been reproduced to make it the most authentic looking it could ever be.
Fine detail such as the money, the cars, and the excellent music have all been added to Heartbeat to make it so realistic.
Aidensfield is a small village up in the dales, where just about every type of rogue and villain travels to by the look of it, which makes Heartbeat much more watchable.
There are really strong characters in this show, namley Claude Greengrass, unfortunatley you will only see him in the re-runs on uk gold as he has been ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of ITV - Heartbeat
Advantages: Great lyrics, very thought provoking Disadvantages: sad at times
' tells the story of how racial hatred is tearing the world apart.
'Baby Can I Hold You' sorrowfully covers the 'guy takes advantage of the girl' relationship and was recently covered by Boyzone (badly I might add).
'Behind the Wall' paints a vivid picture of domestic violence and what it was like before it was taken seriously as a crime.
'Mountains O' Things' which is a parable set to music concerning the way we enslave ourselves to material objects and obsession with what we think to be success.
I also have all of Tracy Chapman's other albums and apart from maybe 'crossroads' none of the others come close.
Tracy Chapman deserves far more success than she achieves.
This album is one I listen to time and again and certainly makes my top 10 album list. ...
