Advantages: Excellent Movie Sountrack. Disadvantages: None!
memories of this movie and of the time it was released in the charts to me and I just love recalling it all. This track was released in 1985 and reached number 15 in the billboard charts. The music video to accompany this love song was taken from clips of the St Elmo's Fire movie also. This is an excellent track, that?s an all time favourite to me.

Well as you have probably gathered from reading this review, I really love this soundtrack a lot. I have had this original one for over twenty years. I first had it on cassette and then upgraded it to CD. It really looks a bit tatty on it, but that?s because it has been played a lot by me over the years, as I love it so much. This CD was one of the first movie soundtracks that really caught my attention because of the great meanings all the songs ...
Advantages: Examines Vietnam in great detail with the usual King gripping storyline. Disadvantages: A long book that takes a lot of stamina to finish.
Not one of King's usual books, HeartsInAtlantis takes us through a journey of over 30 years, centered over the destruction of America's people through the Vietnam war. The complete book contains 5 stories, the first about 3 best friends in their childhood town. This is situated before the vietnam war, and shows what life was like. The second set in college during Vietnam, the title story, containing the girl from the childhood book. The book continues in this fashoin until the final book where Bobby (lead character) re-visits his childhood town. This book assesses the impact of Vietnam on America in a gripping and motivating way. This book has a meaning hard to explain unless you read it. It is a wonderful, interesting book if you have the stamina to read all the way through it, but it's well worth the effort. ...

Even if you're not a fan of Stephen King books...this film is well worth a look, because it's just not a typical King style film. Yes it has the usual King like science-fiction element running through it, but that part of the film is so well woven into the story, it's only one small part of the entire film.
The film begins in the present day. Bobby Garfield (David Moore - Green Mile) receives in the mail a baseball glove. This glove has been left to him in the Will of his childhood friend Sulley. Bobby returns to his hometown for the funeral and old memories come flooding back to him as he wanders around his 'old' town, especially the house where he used to live. These memories all centre on his 'eleventh' year, his old friends and of one in particular, who changed Bobby's life forever.
The film then steps back in time, to 1960 ...
