Hed Kandi: The Mix 2009

Advantages: If you want a very generic mix CD this could be for you.
Disadvantages: Many tracks are either remixes of commerical hits, or at least 4 years old.

Having long been a fan of the Hed Kandi brand, and of funky house music I decided to reluctantly purchase 'The Mix 2009'. My reluctance came from reading the tracklisting on the back of the Album - Shakedown 'At Night', X-Press 2 'Lazy' Afro Medusa 'Pasilda' and others are all relatively old tracks. If the theme of this album had been similar to the Hed Kandi classics CD in 2006 it would be understandable - but this edition professed to be 'The Mix 2009'. On previous outings the main two CD's always featured the biggest tracks of the year and nothing else - a sort of House Music annual. The 'Chill-out/Wind-Down' themed third CD each time had previously been the only disc to feature 'classic house'. The Mix 2009 certainly isn't and if a general overview of 2009 in house music is what you're after then perhaps it would be better to look ...

The BEST cd for your summer!

Advantages: Some awesome tracks, familiar artits along with sme good new remixes. not too expensive
Disadvantages: None that i can think of!

Clubbers Guide 2009 is the latest CD in the clubbers guide series. Each year they bring out a new CD compiled of classic club songs as well as new releases from famous artists and DJs. They always manage to achieve a perfect balance of dance, trance and electro and this year is no different. They have got all the classics from our favourite artists such as Tiesto, September, Ferry Corsten and Basshunter. As well as these, there are some great new remixes including the Steve Angello and Laidback Luke remake of ?Show me Love?. The Ting Tings make an appearance with a happy remix of ?Be the one?. If you are a fan of this genre of music you are more than likely to be aware of Deadmau5 who has a few great electro songs out including ?Ghosts n Stuff? which is one of the tracks on this CD. Summer Party hits - Various Artists

Advantages: You won't get bored of it
Disadvantages: Could come out with more songs

Guess what? Summer's here!! And its time to P A R T Y!! Well don't just stop there and think whats it gonna be like....if you care enough to shake a leg with your partner and bring back those memories of allsuch summers together... then you have it. Your wish has been fulfilled because you have all those tunes packed as a collection of this wonderful Cd set. You want it you got it dance beats...reggae ..Pop and the right rhythm. You really won't have to give yourself a reason to dance as you play this On and On.. Yes there could have been more hits of the era gone by but that would give you a reason to look for another party cd set. Well go ahead and Own it. ...
