Hellalive is an album that captures the intensity and pure ecstasy of a live machine head concert. The CD was mostly recorded at the Brixton Academy in London and two tracks from a later gig in Germany. It simply places live songs from across Machine Head's discography onto one CD. Their set included songs like "None But My Own" on Burn My Eyes to "Supercharger". Highlights of Machine Head's performance that night included the amazing "Ten Ton Hammer", ... ...Ahrue Luster. Apparently Hellalive was named by a fan through a contest run by Road Runner. It was recorded for the people, in front of the people. If you are a machine head fan, then this album is the next best thing to seeing them live of which they are a class act.
