Hello - An Introduction To ABC [CD On Demand] - ABC

...80's music is well and truely bigger and better than ever before!!I brought this cd after going to an local 80's night featuring the band. The concert was so good , I became hooked on abc and went down the next week to buy this CD. ABC are classic, combining pop and Soul, ballads and up-tempo numbers...they perform it all well and are as close to brilliance and perfection as you can get!!! I had my doubts about a live C.D at first as it doesn't often sound as good as the real thing..but those doubts didn't last for long!!! The LIVE sound of the fantastic band really envelops you and makes you feel you are really at a concert. The Hightlight for me was the Ballad All Of My Heart..the emotion behind this track was incredible..and the number 'Look of Love' one everyone will recognise. ...ABC Album - Look of love: The Very Best of ABC. Album is a single CD, containing 17 songs, as the title suggests 'The Best of ABC'. Front cover shows Martin Fry reclining in his famous GOLD Suit. Back cover shows the 17 track titles and an empty theatre with just fry's jacket hanging over a chair, suggesting he's on the stage? Inside is a shockingly red CD and small front cover booklet. This contains some information on martin and some of his songs. Centrefold is martin reclining in his shockingly loud gold suit. As with 'Tears for fears', ABC where of the early eighties and had a very distinctive and recognisable sound. Fry was born in 1958 in Manchester. He was initially asked to join a band put together by Mark White (Guitarist) and Steve Singleton (Saxophonist) but soon he took over the band and gave it its distinctive sound... Read review

...Hello and welcome to the review that should have been here. It was here but its not here now as I have taken it and put it into my private stash somewhere else. It may well appear somewhere else online and if it does it will have my name on it. Thank you to everyone, to all the people in my COT over the years who have stuck by me and who have been great influences over the reviews I have written. It is indeed a sad case that reviewers have to come to this, to put a review on which makes no sense at all when the original content should be listed and frankly because of endless problems with Ciao I no longer have the time and energy to carry on.
