Advantages: Gavin Lee Disadvantages: Uninspired music and lyrics
Pastiche, the imitation of a literary or musical style for (generally) comic purposes, can be a wonderful thing. The songs of Tom Lehrer and the musical The Boyfriend spring to mind as great examples. Unfortunately, not all pastiche is good pastiche, and 'A Saint She Ain't' certainly ain't good pastiche. Written in a style reminiscent of film musicals of the 1940s and accompanied by piano (possibly two pianos, judging from the sound of the overture), the show features thirteen different songs which echo the list songs, novelty numbers and lovestruck duets remembered fondly from so many Hollywood singalongs. But it's not much fun, when it comes down to it.
Music is by Denis King, lyrics by Dick Vosburgh and the cast of eight features Barry Cryer and Gavin Lee (who went on to create the stage version of Bert in Mary Poppins ...
Advantages: even easy cut, good value for money Disadvantages: none to report yet
I got this for my partner because, quite frankly, I was sick of him stealing the scissors and my razors at home!
This clipper is a good product and I would always reccomend something from the babyliss range - call me a sucker for brands but I have never had a problem with the make when buying products before.
The overall appearance isn't the typical appearance to clippers, at least not ones I've seen before but just like it says on the tin my partner found them easy to use and hold.
Straight from the box the clippers use "Unique circular blade technology for multi directional cutting" which seem to make a massive differents than a pair of scissors giving the cut a nice and even appearance.
The product is rechargable and comes with the mains equipment for corded use or uncorded, whichever you prefer!
The results look very ...
Advantages: easy to listen to, great guitar riffs Disadvantages: None!
Fantastic album by a fantastic band, different from 'its five o' clock somwhere' but definately the better of the two although five o' clock is very good this album just has something it doesn't, a really kind of jazzy but rocky album, serial killer and ain't life grand are the best tracks, came across slash's snake pit due to being a massive Slash fan and trying to find bands with slash in and loved them, they are unlike any other band i've ever heard, a definate listen for anyone who is a fan of GnR and Velvet Revolver, the lead singer has a great gravelly voice which really suits the rock and jazzy style of this album, absolutely love it although its really hard to get hold of anymore ...

Producers include: Mr. Payback, Sam Bostic, Meech Well, Ant Banks, Sam Bostic. Since his introduction to hip-hop, E-40 has sprinkled the music industry with the Bay Area's hottest rappers. One of those proteges is B-Legit, who returns with his West Coast street tactics on HEMPIN' AIN'T EASY. On songs such as "Rap Star" and "Destiny," Legit flosses his usual slow-rolling flow and schools listeners on what it is to be a player in the rap game. He is joined by heavy hitters such as Snoop Dogg on "The Game Is Cold" and Mack 10 on "Where The Gangstas At" for some Cali-flavored gems. HEMPIN' AIN'T EASY is definitely of the gansta rap genre, but can be enjoyed by anyone who likes to hear the funk.
Album Reviews
The Source (10/00, pp.250-2) - 3.5 mics out of 5 - "...A barrage of street savvy joints on which Legit muses about slangin' crack, smoking major broccoli and sliding up in saucy groupies after the show....if you're in the mood for some slumping, bass-heavy gangsta rap...then this is that 'bumble'..."
