In Ellie, by Lesley Pearce, it is centred on two girls, Ellie and Bonny. The two girls meet in post-war Britain in London, and though in character they are the very opposite on one another, they become friends. Ellie is a loving, kind, sweet natured brunette with a sparkling smile, while Bonny is a beautiful but spoilt blonde, who can be deceptive in many ways. Both were separated from their parents during the war as evacuees, and meet after the war has ended and set about making a life for themselves in the glamorous but ruthless life of the theatre. As their friendship continues, Ellie has to face lots of lies and deception from Bonny, but she always abides by Bonnie wishes, no matter how painful they are to herself. Cooking with herbs has become more and more common lately,almost a new trend in the cookery world. Whilst herbs have been used for more years than are documented for a variety of uses,from many more rescent years we seem to have ignored their flavours,and benifits. My own small garden is home to several hundred varieties of herb,and my windowsil is home to few aswell,I use them almost daily and find endless uses for them. Most supermarkets sell herbs either dried,frozen or fresh.Which ever way you buy them they can be expensive. Buying dried herbs - Although they are very convinient and keep well,they do not have the flavour of fresh herbs or of home dried herbs.A small jar of about 28g will set you back in the region of £1. Low Fat Lunch? Kraft Philadelphia with herbs and garlic

Advantages: Good packaging, fantastic taste, Good use of ingredients
Disadvantages: None at all in my opinion.

If you have read any of my previous reviews then you will have seen that I sometimes struggle with what to have for my lunch everyday. I tend to get bored quite quickly with food and whilst I have fads of items where I cannot get enough of them, not long after I am soon fed up. I have recently been on a bit of a soup fad but know that before long I will tire of it. Whilst going to heat my soup up in the works kitchen I saw a colleague toasting herself a bagel and then spreading something on it.... This something was Philadelphia Light Garlic and Herb.
